Gene and Mal walked to their lockers with Jay by their side, the Gothel girl, anxiously tapping her fingers against the books in her hands. "Look, It's Mal," the three heads turned to look at the group of girls, all praising Mal as they twirled their new hair. "Hi, Mal! Love my hair, Mal!" One of the other girls shouted, Gene raising an eyebrow at Mal, so that's where she went when Lonnie came back with reinforcements. Reinforcements being Mary, daughter of Merida and Addie, daughter of Ariel. The three stood by Mal and Gene's lockers as Mal collected the cookies, Gene putting her books in her locker and looking at the small painting that Mal had done in the back of her locker. It was a small flower, the one that had gave Rapunzel her power. Gene had just opened the locker to it one day, Mal saying she got bored, picked the lock and did it. Her gaze went from it back to Jay who glanced between the girls nervously, "Are you feeling kind of weird about this? I mean, it's not so bad here, you know," Jay asked, staring off into the distance after a second or two, a glint in his eye.

Gene couldn't help but agree with the boy because Auradon was so much better than just being at the house with her mother. Of course that idea was immediately shut down by the purple haired girl, "Are you insane? Long live evil! You're mean! You're awful! You're bad news! Snap out of it!" She clicked her fingers in front of the boy who seemed to snap out of his daze, the glint disappearing whilst Gene frowned at how quickly he changed hid mind. "Thanks, Mal. I needed that," A voice made Gene's frown deepen as she turned to the perfect princess who stood a few feet away, "Do you think they actually paid for those?" Gene was so busy listening in to what Audrey was saying she didn't realise Jay had walked over to the girls until she looked to them, "Oh, hello. The name's Jay. You all going to the tourney game tonight?" Gene turned back to her locker with a roll of her eyes. That boy just couldn't stop flirting. "Yeah," all the girls chorused and Gene started fake gagging making Mal laugh. "Keep a lookout for number eight, all right? Scoring the winning goal," Jay spoke and practically all the girls laughed, some twirling their hair still, whilst one replied, "Okay," Gene stared at the back of her locker, the painting holding her focus as she prepared herself. "She did it to Jane's hair, too, and Fairy Godmother's not happy about it," Audrey spoke again and Gene smirked at how annoyed she was.

"What's the harm?" Ben asked. He had glanced at Gene once or twice but he tried to focus on the conversation though he wasn't sure he could. "It's gateway magic! Sure, it starts with the hair. Next thing you know it's the lips and the legs and the clothes and then everybody looks good and then... where will I be?" Was the girl's only response, self centered as always Gene noticed. Ben hadn't really paid attention to the short speech but he knew the basic complaints, having heard the same thing the other day when it happened to Lonnie, "Listen, Audrey-" his girlfriend cut him off with a hand motion, "I will see you at the game after my dress-fitting for the coronation, okay?" She smiles at him, Ben nodding at her (used to being cut off) as he just sighed out an "Okay," the girl only smiled more, the action looking over the top as usual, and waved, "Bye, Bennyboo," and she strutted off.

Gene was so anxious about talking to him that she missed his defeated, "Bye," Mal looked at the girl giving her advice that only confused and worried her further, "Just act like me," and with that, Mal walked over to stand with Evie leaving Gene to her own devices. The Gothel girl sighed before turning to face him, panic seeping into her veins, "Hey, Bennyboo!" She inwardly cringed at the name but she tried not to show it, letting a smile make its way to her lips. "Hey," the rest of the VKs noticed the smile that grew on his face at the sight of her but Gene did not, too worried about what she was doing. The girl began to overly panic on the inside but she didn't let it show. Hiding emotions was second nature to her. "I just made a batch of cookies. Double chocolate chip, do you want one?" Her voice was calm and steady as she held the bag up for the soon to be king to see.
