"I know he won't have the guts to confess surrounded by so many people," Tanaka smirked. I'm so bad hehe. Wait, did he even notice my awesome suit before running off?
"Tanaka?" Kiyoko said behind him. He turned around.
"Kiyoko!" he blushed when he saw her. "You look beautiful. Not that you don't look beautiful other days. You always look beautiful," Tanaka rambled nervously.
Kiyoko smiled. "Thanks."
"Aren't you here with Suga? Where is he?"
"He's in the bathroom. I think he got sick from the food here because he's been in there for a while," Kiyoko told him.
"Oh...um will you dance with me then?" Tanaka asked her.
"Sure," Kiyoko agreed. He held out his hand and Kiyoko placed her hand in his.
Wow, Kiyoko and I are holding hands! Tanaka blushed.
There was a slow song playing, so he placed one hand on her waist and held her other hand. She placed her other hand on his shoulder.
"Tanaka," Kiyoko said as they danced.
"Yeah?"
"Why are you wearing a purple suit? Did you find out I was going to wear a purple dress?" she asked him.
"No, I just remembered one time you said your favorite color was dark purple. So, I decided to wear your favorite color in hopes you would notice me," Tanaka said shyly. Kiyoko blushed. He remembered that? I mentioned my favorite color the first day I became their manager. The thought of him remembering something from that long ago made her happy.
"I always notice you, regardless of the color you're wearing," Kiyoko told him.
"Really?" Tanaka looked down at her and blushed again.
"Of course, how can I not notice a loud mouth like you," Kiyoko looked away blushing.
She notices me all the time! Tanaka completely ignored the 'loud mouth' part.
Meanwhile, Tadashi and Yachi were in the middle of their dance when Hinata finally found them.
"Excuse me, Tadashi I think you've had enough time with MY date," Hinata pulled Yachi by the wrist.
"But the song hasn't finished yet," Tadashi called out to him. Hinata ignored him.
"Hinata? We were almost done with the song," Yachi told him as he pulled her through the crowd.
"I didn't want to wait any longer to dance with you," Hinata told her, finally stopping at a spot less crowded by people. Yachi blushed at what he said. Right then a new song started playing.
Hinata held out his hand. "May I have this dance?"
Yachi smiled. "Of course."
He pulled her in close. Usually, Yachi was a bit shorter than Hinata but with the heels she had on she was exactly his height. Her face was on par with his. Of course, this made them both pink in the cheeks.
"Uh, Yachi?" Hinata spoke.
"Yeah?" she answered.
"For a while now, I've noticed I started to act differently around you. Sometimes, I don't ever want practice to end just so we could spend more time together. When you say you get lonely, I wish I could always be there for you so you don't ever feel like that again. Because...seeing you sad makes me sad....and when I see other guys get close to you...I don't like it. It took me a while to notice because I've never felt this way about anyone before...but I've finally come to realize I like you, Yachi," Hinata finally confessed to her.
Yachi felt her eyes get moist. I've wanted to hear that for so long now.
"I feel the same way, Hinata. I've liked you since we got back from Tokyo. I just didn't want to ruin our friendship by confessing my feelings to you," Yachi told him, holding back tears.
"You wouldn't have ruined anything by telling me your true feelings," Hinata told her. He wiped a tear drop from her eye before it could run down her cheek. Yachi rested her cheek on his hand. He cupped her face in his hands and leaned in slowly to kiss her. Yachi closed her eyes and accepted the kiss.
Our first kiss Yachi thought.

Tadashi went around to look for Yachi and Hinata. Since, the dance floor was crowded he decided to step out and look for them from afar. His eyes landed on them in a corner less crowded. He saw Hinata's mouth moving indicating he was talking to Yachi as they danced. I wonder what they're talking about?
He started to make his way over to ask Yachi for another dance after the song finished. But, he stopped when he saw Hinata lean in for a kiss and Yachi accepted it.
The music was drowned out by the clenching feeling he felt in his chest. He was frozen still.
From the dance floor, Tanaka, who was still dancing with Kiyoko, spotted Tadashi. He followed his gaze to find Hinata and Yachi parting from a kiss.
"Oh man," he said.
"What's wrong?" Kiyoko asked, looking up at him.
"Uh, I'm sorry but I gotta go deal with something," Tanaka said. "I'll come find you when I'm done." Kiyoko was confused but she let him go.
Tanaka went over to Tadashi who was still dumbfounded.
"Hey man, are you ok?" Tanaka asked, placing his hand on Tadashi's shoulder.
Tadashi snapped out of his thoughts.
"Oh Tanaka, it's you. Yea I'm fine," Tadashi smiled glumly and scratched his head.
"I just lost my train of thought and forgot where I was going," Tadashi lied.
"Tadashi, I know you liked Yachi. It's ok to tell me how you're really feeling," Tanaka tried to sound reliable.
Tadashi looked dejected.
"I did like her...but I knew she didn't feel the same way. I just thought maybe with time she would come to like me," Tadashi told him.
"Hey man, it's ok. There are other girls out there. I'm sure you'll find the one for you," Tanaka put his arm around him. "Let's go find you someone to dance with."
"Wait, what?" Tadashi tried holding his ground. I know where this is going.
Tanaka called out to a girl from the volleyball team.
"Hey Chizuru, come dance with Tadashi!" he pulled Tadashi along with him.
"Wait Tanaka, I don't-" Tadashi tried to protest.
"Sure! Come on, Tadashi," Chizuru took Tadashi's hand and dragged him to the dance floor.
Well, that's that. Now, I gotta go find Kiyoko. I also gotta remember to tell Saeko I won the bet! Tanaka smirked and went off to look for Kiyoko.
