*Kevin's POV*
I just can't wait to see my boys again, Joel especially. I never heard from him he left for the United Kingdom with his girlfriend and family for vacation. I was here in Ghana with Dad who had a lot to attend to; business conferences, meetings among others. So I was just home. Yes, my vacation was so boring. I hope to see Joel at the cafeteria during recess so we talk more. The siren wails and it's exactly 7:25am and I have History at 7:30am. I head to class and it was congenial seeing Clifford, Josh, Mailey, Daryl and the others again. Unfortunately for me, I'm not in the same class with any close friend of mine.
So it's break at last. At the cafeteria, I go get myself some vegetable rice and fruit salad. There comes Joel, my best friend. I leave my seat to hug him to show how much we've missed each other. He goes in for jam rolls and coke. "So how was your vacataion?", he asks. Very boring I say with my mouth full of rice. I can see you had real fun since you went on vacation with your girl Michelle. You're very lucky my brother to get to spend vacation with family and girlfriend too. "What's up with you and Joy?", Joel asks. "Bruh, it's over. I dumped her. You know me already, after I hit the core, the moment you try to be too possessive or try to stress me up, off you go."
"So who's on now Kevin?" "Davida, the high school model." "Davida", Steve reechoed as he joins with his chips and drink. Its been long brothers, he shakes hands with Joel and Kevin.
Cecil and Johnny didn't show up and the bell goes again as they head back to their classes. We will meet at the car park after school, Joel shouts from a distance to Kevin and Steve.
Kevin leaves the class first as the last bell goes. He still hadn't seen Davida but didn't seem to bother about it. He sees the whole team already at the car park. "Hail Kevin!", Johnny shouts as the others join. They do their brotherhood handshakes and start conversing. Their conversation was fun as they laugh pushing each other, very happy to see each other again. Everyone passing by stares at these famous boys in school. Kevin being every ladies date wish, so talented a boy he is: best football player, a basketball player, best male vocalist, academically endowed, fashionable and good looking with his black curly hair, dark brown eyes, pink lips and dimpled cheeks with well kept facial hair.
Joel's the best basketball player, a sound engineer and excels in every field he finds himself. Steve's a poet and writer, received numerous awards due to the great works of his. Johnny and Cecil being the school's best athletes who have won several medals. They all are from rich homes too.
Davida shows up running over to hug Kevin. She leans to kiss him. "I've really missed you Kevin, she says. I couldn't concentrate in class as you were all that I was thinking of. All I was waiting for was the last bell to go then I get to see my handsome. Please Kev, I would like you to drop me home today." "Sure, I will babe", Kevin replies. She rests her head on Kevin's chest with her hands around his waist as he also has his hands at her back.
They continue their chit chat for a while before they all decide to head home. Kevin and Davida head to The Kennie's, a small bar recently opened to have a sip and later he drops her home.
