Chapter nine

Kokichis pov
Everyone apologized and Shuichi accepted them all for me because I was very tired and afraid of everyone. After everyone had apologized, Shuichi started to explain what happened and why I was different from the other kokichi. I just kept hugging Shuichi the whole time while he talked and after they all didn't seem mad anymore. They seemed...guilty. After shuichi was done he sighed and looked at me with a smile. I smiled back at him with a slight blush on my face and then I noticed Kaito get up and walk over to us. I pushed myself hard against Shuichi's chest and I started shaking again.
"H-hey...i'm not gonna hit you again and...i'm sorry about last time. I just thought you were lying but now I know you're not..I'm sorry" he kept scratching the back of his head nervously and I thought for a minute. Should I accept it... I saw Shuichi about to say something but I cut him off.
"I-i-...." I took a deep breath and looked at kaito. "It's ok.."
Shuichi was smiling at me and kaito put his hand into a thumbs up.
"Alright! Thanks man!" I sat there shocked for a minute and then I put a little thumbs up too before quickly laying on shuichi again.
'Hehe!" i felt happy...yeah happy! I was happy!

H-huh? Shuichi and Kaito were holding me up. Did I fall or something?
"Kokichi are you ok!" shuichi looked so concerned while kaito was the same.
"Y-yeah sorry. Im ok! Just kinda felt weird for a minute" i felt my forehead. I felt the band aid which made me smile but I was at normal temperature. I'm not sick so what was that just now?
"Probably because you haven't eaten" kaito said as he pointed to a table with three plates of food. maki,miu,and tsumugi were sitting there but there was another plate so I assumed kaito was too before this. while the others were at a seperate table across from us.
"Let's go eat," Shuichi said looking at me. I nodded in response and they helped me get over to the table.
While we ate we talked about stuff that has gone on so far. Somewhere funny some weren't but something important happening is that we are in a killing game... when i first heard that i freaked out but shuichi helped me calm down again.
I really need to figure out this feeling I have towards shuichi...what is it?
"Oh yeah that reminds me" kaito chugged down his glass of water and then continued. "What happened to the trial we had to do?"
They told me that they do trials to figure out the blackened. Who was the victim this time..?
"I talked to monokuma about it and he said he would figure out what to do but for now we don't have to worry about it. He also said we will have an announcement in the gym about what to do with kokichi now and what happened to him," Maki said without looking at any of usl. Suddenly everyone's eyes were on me.
"U-umm..."
"It is ok kokichi! Don't worry about any of that!" kiibo said from the other tabel. I nodded and continued to eat very small amounts. I usually don't eat much since before they used to throw my food on me or smack it on the floor...i'm not used to eating this much anymore because of that..
When me and Shuichi finished eating It was nighttime so Shuichi and I headed back to the rooms. When we got there shuichi stopped.
"What's wrong?" I said very concerned.
"It's just..." he put his finger to his lip and he started thinking. He thought for a few seconds before he turned to me.
"Where do you want to sleep?" I instantly started blushing. There was a choice to sleep with him?! In his room!?! On the same bed!?!?!?
"Wha- N-NOT LIKE THAT I PROMISE!!!"
"N-no it's ok!! I know you wouldnt do anything so dont worry!!!" he let out a sigh but his face was still completely red. I thought about it for a minute. If i slept in my room i would probably overthink and not get any sleep besides...i don't wanna leave shuichi...i kept thinking and then i finally decided my answer.
"I..."  I Grabbed onto his shirt and looked up at him "I wanna be with y-you!"
He started blushing a darker shade and so did I but...I wanna be completely honest with him!
He hugged me tightly. I was shocked at first but I hugged him back.
"I do too...i was honestly hoping you would say that"
I smiled.
"I-I'm glad.."

.....

We grabbed a set of clothes and toothpaste,etc from my room and brought them to Shuichi's. When we got inside I set my stuff down and Shuichi took a shower. When he was done I took one too. Once we had finished brushing our teeth and getting changed we headed to bed. Shuichi took the right side of the bed and I took the left. I tried to sleep for a little bit but i couldn't.... I was so nervous and happy at the same time...i wanted to...
"A-ahh!" as if he was reading my mind he did what i wanted to and he started cuddling me but he quickly let go.
"S-sorry!! I jus-" i smiled and turned to face him then continued to cuddle him.
"I wanted to as well but i didn't think you did.." he smiled and cuddled me back. I kept smiling before I slowly fell asleep in his chest.
"I...I don't think you're just a friend to me..'' Shuichi said but I was already asleep.
