How it all happened

Chapter four

Tears were falling down my face and Shuichi was hugging me tightly, rocking me back and forth. He was slowly stroking my hair and I started blushing as soon as I realized what was happening. Did I zone out? I looked up at Shuichi while still crying and shaking slightly.
"Sh-shuichi i..." he just kept stroking my hair.
"It's ok" i just kept crying as he continued to rock me back and forth.
After a while I was calm and half asleep on his chest. He just looked at me and smiled.
"I-im sorry.." I said,tearing up again. Why do i always do this... i need to be stronger or change..
"It's fine and I like the way you are," he said with a big smile on his face.
"H-huh! How did you?"
"I'm the ultimate detective. I could just tell by your expression" he said laughing nervously. I smiled at him.
"That's so cool!" he blushed and got up with me in his arms.
"W-what are you..!" he walked around the bed and laid me on it then he grabbed a box and kneeled next to me. He opened the box and it looked similar to a first aid kit. He grabbed alcohol and a big bandaid. I looked at his movements the whole time. I wasn't scared or anything just confused. Why was he comforting me and then now he's taking care of me? This has never happened to me ever.
"Is something wrong?" I guess I was looking at him longer than I thought.
"n-no! Sorry i was just thinking" i could feel myself blushing. W-what is going on with me today.
"Well I'm glad you're ok!" he smiled sweetly at me which made me blush more. He noticed right away and he started blushing too.
"S-sorry!! I don't know why i-" i started panicking and i was breathing hard. What is going on?!
"N-no it's ok! It was just....cute" he mumbled the last part and i couldn't hear it.
"W-what was that?"
"N-Nothing! Forget it" he laughed slightly and started to rub my injury with alcohol. I flinched at first but I was used to pain so it wasn't bad. After he was done cleaning it he patched it up with the big band aid and then he closed the box and went to put it up. When he left I slightly touched the band aid and I smiled blushing like crazy. I don't know what this feeling is but... i like it!
He came back a minute later and he was scratching the back of his head with blush on his face. W-why is he? When he looked at me he started blushing harder. wh-OH WAIT I'M STILL BLUSHING! I quickly put my hands in front of my face and grunted. I could hear him laughing and walking over to me. He slowly put his hands on mine and put them down. He was still blushing but also smiling.
"Y-you don't have to hide it. I l-like seeing your face" I started blushing more. WHAT IS GOING ON TODAY!? I tried to speak but I couldn't so I just nodded.
"Now let's go get you changed. I didn't know what he meant by that but I just followed along anyway. We left the room and went to....The other kokichis room! Maybe I can find some stuff out! Shuichi saw my excitement and he just giggled to himself. I wonder what he was thinking.
When we arrived at the room, Shuichi opened the door and held it for me again. I happily walked in and... i was so confused. There were so many things. Boxes just filled with files,a tire,etc but what caught my eye most of all was a board. It had multiple people but shuichi was on it too.

'Trustworthy'

Shuichi walked over with an identical set of clothes that I had on. He looked at the board with me and sighed.
"D-do you know what this means?" he just looked at it and nodded his head.
"The other kokichi was a mystery but... I guess he thought of me as trustworthy. I wonder why.." does he really not know?
"It's obvious why. I haven't been with you that long and I can still see why. Your kind and so helpful. You have done so much for me even though you barely know a thing about me. I definitely know why he would say you're trustworthy" he blushed a dark shade of red and looked away.
"T-thank you" he said shyly.
"No p-problem!" We stayed silent for a minute then he handed the clothes to me and told me to go in the bathroom to change and come out when I was done. I did what he said and got changed. While I was changing I was thinking about this other kokichi. I wonder what he thought of shuichi and what he saw. I wonder... When I finished I came out and Shuichi was looking at the board again but not at his picture this time. It was of a blonde girl with a pink shirt and a backpack. I noticed that shuichi looked sad so i hesitantly hugged him. He was started at first but then hugged back. We hugged for a while then he let go of me so I did the same.
"Sorry about that. Now let's go to the others" oh no...others...this isn't gonna turn out well.
"o-ok.."
