How it all happened

Chapter fourteen

Kokichis pov
Shuichi gave me a new pair of clothes and I went to change into them. When i was done i looked in the mirror at what i was wearing.
It was extremely cute! I wonder where he got it from... either way I loved it!! The color and the style is exactly what I like!! I walked out to see him in a new outfit too.
He looked...amazing!! His jacket and just everything completely went with him. It was like that outfit was made just for him and no one else. I ran up to him and looked at him up and down to get a better look. When I looked up at him he was completely red with his hands covering his face. Did I do something wrong? I thought about it for a minute and then...
I had just...
I JUST CHECKED HIM OUT WITHOUT REALIZING IT!!!!
"SORR-mgh!!" he picked me up and kissed me. I wrapped my legs and arms around him so I wouldn't fall and kissed him back after. The kiss lasted a few seconds before we broke it off and looked at each other smiling.
"I-I love you" I said, trying not to stutter but failed miserably. He smiled at me and kissed me one more time.
"I love you to my adorable shorty" I'm not that short so I?!? I blushed harder at this because of embarrassment and a little bit of anger. I buried my head in his shoulder trying to hide it. He giggled and kissed my neck a few times teasing me. My eyes widened and I lost my grip on him. I fell off of him and started to fall to the floor. He quickly grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him again so I didn't fall. I looked up at him and I knew my face was very red. I tried to hide it with my hands but he stopped me.
"Shu-" he cut me off with a kiss again which somehow made my face even redder. We kept kissing for a while before he picked me up,grabbed something from the bed and walked to the door.
"W-Wait im st-still blu-"
"I want everyone to see how cute you can be" then he opened the door and to my luck no one was there. He carried me to the courtyard and then to what looked like a wooden canopy. It was already dark out which I was kind of afraid of but being with Shuichi took all that fear away. He set me down on the seat and then walked over to the other side and sat down too. I looked at the table and it was all set up. There were candles and plates of food on top of a white sheet that went over the entire table. It was amazing but where did he get all of this stuff anyways? I really need to explore soon. It made me so happy though.
I looked at Shuichi with tears in my eyes.
"Y-you really did all of this?" He nodded clearly embarrassed. I smiled at him before wiping away my tears and picking up my silverware. Shuichi did too and we started to eat. It was delicious and I had never tasted anything better.
"Who made t-this?"
He finished the bite he had been working on then answered.
"The others surprised me with it...they found out about the date somehow and made us food before I even could" he scratched the back of his head. So they really are good people....
I smiled and continued to eat.
"Well I really like it!" He smiled at me and before continuing to eat too.
When we were both done I got up and ran into the littlefield next to us.
"K-kokichi! Be careful!" Shuichi said getting up.
I kept running until I rolled on the grass and laid on my back laughing. I heard footsteps before I saw Shuichi running over and kneeled down starting to check if I had any injuries.
"Did you scratch your knee! Did you get hurt anywhere!!"
"N-no, I-HAHAHA!!" I tried to speak but i just couldn't stop laughing. He eased up when he saw I was ok and laughed a little with me. When I calmed down a bit I rolled over on Shuichi's stomach and snuggled up on top of him. He was shocked at first but then he put one hand around my waist and put the other on top of my head, playing with my hair. I blushed and we laid there staring at the stars. They were like nothing I had ever seen. I had never really taken a minute to look at them but now that I am they are beautiful.
We laid there for a while before I slowly started to doze off. He looked down at me and giggled then planted a kiss on my forehead. I started blushing because of this and then I suddenly remembered something. How had I forgotten?!
I sat up quickly on his lap and reached in my pocket.
"K-kokichi is everything ok?"
I kept digging until I found it and put it out in front of me. It was a box of chocolates that himiko had given me earlier while shuichi was gone.

[flashback time]

I was drying my hair off with a towel when I heard a knock on the door.
"Oh! Shuichi must be back!" I quickly ran to the door before stopping in front of it. What if it's not shuichi...
Instead of immediately opening it the whole way like I was going to before I opened it slightly and peeked outside. Himiko was standing there with her hands behind her back with a smile on her face.
"H-hey.." I said opening the door a bit more but still staying on guard.
"Hey, I just wanted to give you something for your date with shuichi!" She said giggling a bit before handing it to me. When I took it she suddenly looked behind her and then had a shocked expression on her face.
"I gotta go. Have fun!" and then she ran off without another word...

(Sorry about this sucky chapter. I'll try to write more but I have just lost motivation to do anything at this point. Sorry everyone...Also sorry there is no art. I was gonna have someone make some but I needed to update the story and it would have taken to long so
For now just enjoy this mess of a chapter)
