Chapter thirteen

Kokichis pov
We cuddled for a while before shuichi got up and said he had to go somewhere.
"I'll be back. I just have to go talk to a few people for a minute. You stay here ok? I don't want anything happening to you"
"I-In that case I can g-go with you!" I said getting up and putting on my shoes but Shuichi quickly stopped me.
"I really would love you to come don't get me wrong but it's a surprise" I understood but still...I didn't want to be away from him. He kissed me on more time before heading to the door.
"I love you cutie and I promise I will be back soon!"
'I-I love you too shuichi!" We smiled at each other for a second before he closed the door, locking it behind him. As soon as the door closed I fell to my knees. All my thoughts from before just came pilling up. What if something happens?! What if he doesn't come back!! What if-
I started to hyperventilate and I just kept thinking. I couldn't stop.
What if he comes back hurt!!! What if he....

NO! I cant think like that!
I took a deep breath and got up. He said he would come back and I trust him.
He WILL come back.
And with that I decided to take a shower to calm my nerves.

Shuichi pov
When I locked the door I took a deep breath. I hope he is ok while i'm gone. What if he panics?! What if he falls or gets hurt!! What if someone comes and hurts him!!!
I was about to go back in and stay with him but I stopped myself. I took a step away from the door and then another and I kept walking until I made it to where I had wanted to go.
I had arrived at tsumugi's lab and I knocked on the door. I had no idea if she was there but it was worth a try. She was usually in here whenever we had free time so I was almost certain she would be in here but yet again she could not be. The door didn't open at first and I was about to knock again before the door swung open almost hitting me in the face.  She was looking down while adjusting her glasses. When she was satisfied she looked up at me with a surprised expression then smiled.
"Hey...sorry if I'm bothering you but I was wondering if you could make me a few outfits" her face immediately lit up.
"Oh course! What do you want and when do you want it done?"
" well...I was wondering if i could get a pair of black ripped jeans,a checkered short sleeve shirt,and a checkered flannel for kokichi and for me I wanted a dark blue coat with a black hoodie and black jeans and as soon as possible"
She wrote it all down while I talked and when she was done she looked at me with a big smile.
"Is this for a special event or something?" I started blushing and just nodded.
"Come back in an hour and it'll be done!"
"Wait really that quick!?" i said shocked. Wouldnt it take more time then that?!
"I mean I am the ultimate cosplayer after all!" oh yeah thats right but still. It was crazy how fast she could do that.
I thanked her and started walking to the kitchen again to try and find gonta.
While I walked I wondered how kokichi Was...
I gotta get back as soon as possible.
When I walked in the dinning y'all I saw himiko grabbing some juice from the fridge. I walked over to her but made sure she knew i was coming so i didn't scare her.
"Oh hey shuichi..."
"Hey himiko. Do you know where gonta is?" she thought for a minute.
"I last saw him in the courtyard a minute ago. He should still be in there" perfect.
"Thanks himiko!" I was about to leave when she stopped me.
"Hey umm...shuichi.." I turned around to see her looking down at her feet.
'Do you...do you think tenko and angie are happier now..?" she teared up just saying their names. I bent down and hugged her.
"Definitely...i also know for a fact that they would want you to be happy too. They wouldn't want you to be sad anymore. They would want you to keep going make it out of here" she cried into my shoulder for a few minutes and then let go after.
"Y-your right..! I gotta be happy for them! I'll be happy because I know they would want that!" she smiled at me still crying a bit. I got up to leave again while waving back at her. When I closed the door I heard himiko scream.
"Be happy with ouma too!! Make it out of here together!" I started blushing a dark shade of red but I smiled as well.
"Yeah! I will! We are all gonna make it out of here!"
I walked to the courtyard and sure enough gonta was there. He looked like he was looking for something. Probably bugs. I waved to get his attention and he ran over to me.
"Hello shuichi! Whats up?"
"I was just wondering if you could help me find flowers for...kokichi" just saying his beautiful name made my heart race.
"Of course! Gonta saw some over there" gonta pointed to a field of flowers a little bit away. I kinda wasn't expecting flowers in a place like this. I was just hoping they might be here but there they are. Me and gonta walked over and started picking the flowers. Once we were done we had a bunch of blue,white,purple,and red flowers. I thanked gonta and headed over to the canopy and set up a few things before checking the time. It had been over an hour since I had gone to Tsumugi so I headed back to her lab and suprisingly she actually was done. I thanked her and quickly headed back to my room. I wanted to be by his side as soon as possible.
When I got there I saw himiko close my room door with a smile on her face. When she saw me she immediately started running and laughing to herself. I panicked and ran to my room opening the door with a loud bang. Kokichi was just standing there shocked and shaking a bit from the loud noise. He had something in his hands but he quickly put it in his pocket
"S-shuichi!"
I let out a sigh of relief that he was ok. Then I realized that I hadn't hid the stuff from him. He had already seen them anyways so I just kept them in front of me.
"I-i got some stuff ready for our d-date.." I said. He started blushing and smiled at me. He was the cutest thing ever!
I couldn't take it. I dropped everything on the bed and ran to hug him. He hugged me back and I could feel him ease into it.
"I-i missed you.." he said tearing up slightly. I broke the hug and grabbed his face.
"I missed you too cutie" he started blushing more as i kissed him all over then finally on his lips.
"Now let's get ready to go"
