A/N DEAD BODY WARNING, also unless said otherwise all the chapters are going to be in Skyler's point of view. Thank you! Enjoy!!

A few days later, I'm helping Kevin get ready for the back to school formal. I'm dressed in a simple black skater dress, acting like I was going to go.

"I really wish that you would go with that other dress, I think it flatters you so much more, and I bet that in that one, Reggie would allow to to grab him by the horns tonight." I rolled my eyes at Kevin.

"How avout we worry about you getting laid for once Kev. You need it more than me." He laughed a little as he finished getting ready.

"You ready?" I shrugged.

"Between you and me, I might not stay at the dance, you know they're not my thing." He sighed dramatically before nodding.

"You know what? You can be so boring sometimes. But as long as you're safe." I nodded, but inside my head I scoffed, I'm boring?

I grabbed my leather jacket and leather backpack before heading out the door with Kevin. We walk to the school, before parting ways at the door, we both go inside, but as soon as he walked away, I slipped back out, and to the Southside.

To be honest, after last time, I wasn't sure if I should go back. But I wasn't about to go to some lame dance when there was only a 50% chance of the punch getting spiked. I listened carefully as the gravel crunched underneath my combat boots. I silently laughed at the cliche noise. I finally reached the Wyrm, inhaling the smell of smoke and beer. I walkes confidently over to the bar, where ,thankfully, Toni was working. She smiled at me and came over.

"Skyler, how have you been? I haven't seen you in a few days." I scratch behind my neck feeling bad about lying to her, but I wanted to be accepted here. At the same time, relief swept over me, knowing that Sweet Pea hadn't spilled the beans on my secret.

"Eh, just wondering around." She nodded and smiled.

"Sweet Pea and Fangs are overthere playing pool if you want to join them, or you can stay here."

"Thanks, I think I'll go play a round or two." I got up and walked over to the two boys. "Mind if I join?" Sweet Pea turned around, looking pissed that I was back. Fangs on the other hand, seemed rather happy I was there.

"Skyler! You're back! Hopefully you and I can team up to beat this oaf at pool." I laughed and walked over to join Fangs. I already new that he was going to my favorite of the two boys.

"Sure why not." I said, not leating my gaze shift from Sweet Pea.

"Sounds great." He mumbled sarcastically. "What's one more victory." He held my gaze, almost daring me to make a move. I smirked and winked at him. Before grabbing a cue. Fangs had already set up a new game.

"Mind if I start?"

"Not at all." Fangs said cheerfully. I leaned over getting into position. I lined up my cue with the ball before hitting it hard. It crashe into all the other balls, sinking a solid into a basket.

"Gues fangs and I are solids." I let fangs shoot next, leading to him missing. Sweet Pea smirked as he got ready. He hit the cue ball and sank 2 balls into the baskets. He continued on to get a 3rd before missing the 4th. Now it was my turn to smirk. Lucky for me, my dad and I used to play pool all the time. I was and expert, and the last time I was beat in a game of pool was when I was 12.

"You're good Sweet Pea. But I don't think You're 'thay'all good." He stood up straight glaring at me.

"Do you think you're really going to beat me?" He sneared. I simply nodded, before turning my attention to the table. I analyzed the way the balls were set up, before sinking every solid minus number 8. I stood up, facing the two boys whose mouths stood agape. I rolled my eyes and smirked.

"Fangs, drinks are on Sweet Pea if I sink this last one." Fangs nodded eagerly, while Sweet Pea only glared.

"In your dreams princess."

"Oh really, because I think I'm about to make it a reality." I turned around and struck the cue ball, effectively sinking the 8 ball. I turned around and smiled sweetly. "Close your mouth honey, you might catch flies." I heard Fangs burst out laughing, his laughter only getting louddet when I patted his cheek. I walked over to the bar, not noticing the stares I was getting from all around the bar. When 8 sat down Toni gave me a look.

"No one has ever beaten Sweet Pea in at least 2 years, especially like that," I shrugged not really giving a damn. She kept looking at me before I noticed the whole bar was pretty much silent, minus the music. I looked around, suddenly uncomfortable by the amount if eyes looking back at me.

"What?" My face flushed as everyone went back to doing whatever they were doing. I turned back to face Toni.  "A beer please." She smiled and left to go get it as Fangs slipped into the seat next to me.

"Dude, I owe you. You shut Sweet Pea up." I laughed a little. "No, I'm serious, you are my new favorite person." I laughed as he put his arm around my shoulder.

"Okay, okay." I said through my laughter. Toni came back with a beer for me, and another one for Fangs, we cheered and I took a sip, before putting it down. I looked around suddenly noticing a very tall absence. I slipped out from underneath Fangs's arm, mumbling that I would be back. I walked outside of the bar where a tall serpent was throwing rocks at a dumpster.

"Sweet Pea?" He turned, throwing a rock towards me. I ducked, the rock sailing to the place where my head would be.

"Who the hell do you think you are. You come into our turf, lying about who you are, then go humiliate me in front of my family?" I take a step back seeing the anger in his face.

"Look, I just came here wanting a good time."

"Congratulations, you got one didn't you? Your privileged ass just walks into a bar thinking everyone will accept you, and then when one doesn't you try and threaten them." I take another step back, holding my hands up in fear, my heart racing.

"Look I d-"

"Isn't the Northside enough for you?" He steps forward, and I step back once again."Of course it isn't. You Northsiders are all the same. You can't get enough. You won't be satisfied until the Southside is gone, Hell, even then you probably would want more." He steps foward again, and I get ready to turn back into the bar. This wasn't what I wanted. I just wanted to have a good time. Sure a little drama was good to kick things up, but this wasn't just some drama. This could be life threatening. I open my mouth to say something, tears pricking the back of my eyes, but I refused to let them fall. I opened my mouth to say something, but closed it, not knowing what. "So you have nothing to say for yourself?" I just stood there, scared out of my mind, staring at him. I took a deep breath. Maybe he was right. I should just go back and live my life, no matter how boring it was.

"Fine, I'll leave." I turned on my heel, walking back into the bar. I chugged half of my beer before dropping a 5 dollar bill next to it. Toni opened her mouth to say something, along with Fangs. I held my hand up, cutting them off.

"I'm sorry guys, but I'm leaving. I know I just met you, and I'm sure you guys are fantastic people, but I don't belong here. I just gotta keep moving." I stand up and wave goodbye. I hump onto Sweet Pea on the outside of the bar. I hand him another 10. "Just please don't tell them." He opened his mouth but I continue me walking, letting the tears finally fall. Gods. How could I be so selfish. I go in there and possibly wreck this guy's reputation and for what? Fun? Fuck. I'm just like the rest if the Northside.

I continue walking home as my phone buzzes. I grab it to see a text from Kevin.

Kev: I found Jason's body.
