Six (The Games Begin)

Rocky pov

Well it's time for us to go... I went to my tube thing, with my mentor. I put on a green uniform-like thing that had a recycling symbol on my collar, in this case it's a tracker we can't take off.

"Just remember to stay alive." He said. I nodded as i put on my green cap that had a paw symbol on the center. "10 seconds." The thing said. My heart started racing, beating quickly.

"Alright, kiddo, i'm rooting for you four. I'll be sure to get you more sponsors." He said. "T-Thanks Max." I said as my legs started to shake.

"Don't be nervous, just do your best and forget about the rest." He said. He was right, i took a deep breath and nodded. I went to the tube thing and it closed. I heard we were fighting in an area called Adventure Bay?

Sounds strange, but if that's the arena oh well. The tube closed and i started going up, and saw Max watching me up go up. He only nodded and gave a thumbs-up. I think i can do this...

When i was outside i looked around and saw all the tributes, all 48. Looked around my surroundings and saw we were in some kind of soccer field. In the center of all of us is the cornucopia. I saw tons of stuff and weapons.

I remembered what Max said, grab what's closest to you and run for your life. I looked for my teammates. I saw Rubble, Marshall, Chase, and then Skye. I didn't see either Everest or Zuma yet. The clock was at 37, they were counting it down..

I finally found Everest and Zuma. I looked at the closest thing to me. It was a green bag of goodies, and a weapon. Just my luck, there's a sword! I looked at the clock and it was 3. 2...1... GO.

We all ran towards the good stuff, i saw the 1st girl from 10 getting stabbed by Steve. Shortly i saw the 1st girl from 8 being speared by Marshall. I took off with my stuff and i met up with Everest.

"Let's go!" I said. She nodded and we ran the hell out of there, it was madness i saw 2 being killed at once. One was hit by an arrow, the 1st girl from 6, and the other was hit with another arrow on his arm, the 2nd boy from 9. We passed by the 1st boy from 11, who was running away. But he stopped when he was stabbed by Lola.

We tripped and the 2nd girl from 10 was about to attack us with an axe. I got my sword and slashed her chest, i killed a pup... "Come on!" Everest said, worried.

I got up and kept on running with her, we all agreed that we would camp out at the park. I looked back and saw 3 more pups getting killed. The 1st boy from 10 was cut on the trough and i guess he'll suffocate later, then the 1st girl from 4 was hit by throwing knife that was thrown by Lily, the other one was the 1st boy from 3 and he was being stabbed repeatedly by Chase.

Chase got the backpack and saw us, he ran towards us and caught up. "Let's go find Skye!" He said.

"Where is she?!" I shouted as we quickly stopped, we hit behind a tree. We looked back and only 10 tributes were left, and 2 was a non career. One of the non-careers was quickly stabbed by Bella, who then ran the heck away. The girl was the 1st from 6. "She's not here now." Everest said.

"We have to find her!" Chase said. I think he might like Skye, i wonder... We all went to the pup park, that was near by, and we checked what we all got.

I had a box of matches and a metal water bottle, it was empty though. I had a couple of apples in there, so i put that in my backpack. I also found a watch telling the arena's time, it was 1:15 PM. I had a orange too so i put that away.

I put the watch on and the other things i put away. Everest had a dagger as a weapon and Chase had a sword like me. "What did you pups get?" I asked.

"Empty bottle, a raincoat, some prepared turkey, and a flashlight without batteries." She said. We turned to Chase and he said. "Some apples, grapes, and a grapefruit. Some double AA batteries, a water bottle with water, a watch, and a dagger." He said.

Wow he sure got some good stuff. We then heard cannons going off, 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10...11...12...13... That was it.

"Well what now?" Chase asked as him and Everest put their stuff away, also Chase handing Everest the batteries, I shrugged. "We should look for the others." Everest suggested. We nodded in agreement and we set off to find the other 4 pups.

Only one thing was in our minds: Find our friends.
