Chase pov

We went to search for Skye. We suddenly hear another cannon go off, 14 died on the first day damn. We went to look for water, which looked scarce. The only water we saw was the one from the bay. We saw a huge lookout tower, maybe we'll camp out there?

"I'll sniff out Skye's scent." I said. I started sniffing the air for Skye, i picked it up. Then i picked up and unusual scent. It came from Everest and i saw there a pup behind her! "Everest, watch out!" Rocky shouted. Everest got her dagger and pierced it right ok the pup's heart.

The canon went off and now 15 were dead, man. I had to wear a blue vest thing with a blue backpack, also with a blue tracker. "That was close." I said. They nodded and we kept on going.

I picked up Skye's scent perfectly and i followed it. Eventually we were really close, we saw Skye shoot a pup on the back of the head with an arrow. The canon, once again. Went off, 16 dead. "Skye!" I said.

She turned around and ran towards me. When she got to me i hugged her tightly, gosh i missed her. I... I love her.

"I was so worried, Skye!" I told her. We let go and she said. "Aww, you were worried!" I blushed and then just chuckled, basically admitting it. "Ok now we need to find the rest." Skye added.

"You don't have to." We heard behind us. We saw it was Rubble, Marshall, and Zuma. "Pups!" We said as we joined up with them.

"Glad to see we all survived the bloodbath." Rubble said. We nodded, we had to protect him the most since he wasn't well trained and he's the youngest of the group.

"So where to?" Zuma asked. I pointed to the lookout and said. "We can try there." They all nodded and agreed we should go there. "Alright, let's go!" I said.

Rocky pov

It was nice we got to join up all together again, now we just need to survive. Somehow time really goes by fast here, it's already 3:59. We went across the bridge and into the lookout-looking place. It was huge! We went upstairs and saw a control room and then bean bag chairs and a slide.

"This is awesome." Marshall commented. "Yeah, only if we actually lived here, with a nice caring person to watch over us, and help people daily." I said.

Chase chuckled and said. "You never know, Rocky, you never know." We rested on the beanbags, i guess people found this place too predictable and skipped out on it.

"Well it's 5:50 now, they said they announce deaths at 6:00." I informed them. We look out the window that it's dark out already, the city of Adventure Bay is now light up. We then hear Panem's anthem go out. It then shows the ones of the fallen and their ages...

Then the anthem ended. "Well that was a lot today, 16/48 left." Marshall said. We nodded and chose it was time to get some sleep here. "Alright, let's look for some rooms." Chase said.

We looked around and found 3 rooms only, well with beds. "Since we're in the hunger games, we need dorm mates for now." I said.

"U-um... S-S-Skye will y-you.. Uh erm... Be my r-roommate?" Chase asked Skye, rather nervously. "Sure, Chase." She said softly. Together, they went into one of the rooms.

"Everest, would you like to share with me?" I asked calmly. She nodded her head and the other 3 agreed to share one room together. Me and Everest went to one and we slept on the beds they had.

"Rocky, i'm scared." Everest said as we climbed on top of the bed. "Why are you?" I asked. She gulped and said softly. "I'm going to die." I sshed her and said. "I'm going to make sure no one kills you, i'll protect you with all my life." I told her to calm her down.

"Thanks, Rocky." She said as we laid down. "Anytime, Everest, Anytime." I told her as i smiled. Together, we fell asleep forgetting about the games.
