Rocky pov

"Attention. Attention, tributes, the death match will begin in the cornucopia in 5 minutes... Don't be late, if you don't show up you will be transported there. May the odds be ever in your favor." The intercom said. We were all up, we were all just waiting for that call. "Well, should we stay here so they can teleport us?" Chase suggested. I agreed with him, because the careers would probably be waiting for us wouldn't they?

"Sure." We all said. I looked up at the blue sky... If we actually lived here and not at District 7, that would be awesome. If only we could save people instead of killing them. "So what's the plan?" Everest asked. We all looked at Chase and he ate a squirrel we had laying around. "Why are you all looking at me? I don't have any ideas." Chase said as he finished the squirrel.

"Well we have 3 minutes left, what do you all want to do?" Skye asked. I only shrugged, their was really nothing else to do, other than wait. "How about i spy?" Everest suggested. "Actually that sounds pretty good." I said. Skye and Chase agreed with me, so we started a game of i spy. "I spy, with my little eye, something tall and green." Everest said.

"A tree?" Chase said. Everest shook her head and laughed. "A bush?" I asked. "Aww, yeah a bush." She said. Chase gave a confused look and said. "How is that tall?" Then we were suddenly teleported...

Next thing i knew all 7 of us were in the same platforms from the beginning, we've all been teleported. The clock counted down... 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... 0! I saw they've put a forcefield so we don't leave and run away again.

Steve easily took down a girl from 11, her name was Abby. A cannon went off, Steve speared her heart. Steve got the spear and threw it towards Everest. Everest was near by me so i tackled her down so Steve's spear could miss. Then a great pain came from my leg as i tackled her to the ground. We landed and i tried to get up but my leg hurt badly.

Steve chuckled as he ran towards the spear. As soon as he got the spear we see Skye shoot him with an arrow at the back of his head, his cannon went off. "Everest, stay and protect Rocky so he won't die." Chase commanded as he ran away from Lily. Everest nodded and she got out some medicine, Skye went to help Chase.

"Everest..." I said softly. "Go help, i'm finished." She got the spear and kept it near. "No, i'm not leaving you behind." She said as she injected medicine. I looked over at Chase and Skye, i saw Skye fall down from getting hit with an arrow by Lily. Chase looked down and immediately threw his sword at her. He missed and now he was weapon-less.

"Everest!" Shouted as loud as i could. She turned around and gasped. She got the spear and ran towards them, she stopped and looked at me. "Go!" I told her as she nodded. She ran off and threw the spear at Lily. BOOM! A cannon went off... I looked to see who died and it was Skye, Everest accidentally killed Skye... "NO SKYE!" Chase said as he ran up to her and started to cry.

Everest was weapon-less now and Lily stabbed her heart, making Everest die... As i heard Everest's cannon go off, i felt a tear shed. Chase tried to get the spear out of Skye, but before he could even take it out, Lily threw the knife at Chase and it landed on his head. He was piled up on top of Skye as his cannon went off. Where he was stabbed, blood was coming out...

Lily got the sword and looked at me. She ran towards me, and boy is she a fast runner or what. I got out my dagger but she kicked it out of my hand. "What a shame i took your district down single-handedly. Makes my dead partners look weak." She said as she put the knife on my neck.

"Looks like i'll be the one who wins this year!" She said as she laughed. "Enough." She said to herself. I gave up, i closed my eyes and embraced for impact. "Now you die." She said as she slit my trough. She only cut my windpipe, i couldn't breathe! I was gasping for air, struggling to get any, she laughed mockingly and she got off of me. She went to the middle of the cornucopia and stood there in pride as i continued to struggle.
