So this chapter is a bit more lengthy than usual, and it contains some big chunks of dialogue so brace yourselves for that. This is basically a brief history of B.A.P's hardships -- if you're a veteran fan you'll probably recognize everything that I mention, and if you're a new fan (or not a fan) this will clear things up if you ever scroll through the comment sections in B.A.P's music videos.

Just a heads up that some things mentioned obviously aren't 100% accurate!

* babyjay is calling *

|| Alex's POV ||

"Why hello there mister Jae," I say when I answer his call, smiling like a dork.

It's been over two weeks since he spilled his little secret about being in a kpop boygroup, but I still feel nervous and giddy every time we talk. I'll probably never get over the fact that he likes me, hell I still don't 100% believe that this isn't some coma-dream that I've been stuck in for five months.

"Hi my little mochi," he replies with a honey voice, making me bite my fist in attempt to prevent my inner fangirl from surfacing. "How's your day going?"

"Exhausting as always. But I've studied extra much this week so I'm free to talk until you can't keep your eyes open anymore." I grin as I say the last part.

"Pfft you mean until your eyes give out? Thanks to you I'm more nocturnal than ever."

"Didn't you tell me that you quit practice way after midnight some days?"

"... That's beside the point. You should be honored that I sacrifice my super important beautysleep for you."

"Don't you wake up around noon, though?"

"... Ahum!" he fake coughs, "again, you're missing the point here which is that you should feel bad for me."

I roll my eyes at his baby behaviour.

"You know we could just stop talking if it's getting annoying for you-"

"No," he attacks immediately. "Stop talking is not an option, I'm way too attached to you now."

"Lucky for you I don't plan to leave you anytime soon," I then say softly, curling up on my bed and smiling to myself.

"I'd die if you would," he murmurs, making my heart melt in affection. "So, tell me about your week."

And so our regular neverending conversation began. I vented about the project I'm currently working on, complaining about my incompetent lecturer who gives us way too many theoretical reports to hand in instead of letting us focusing on the actual project. He mostly laughs at my stories, which is exactly what I need for my nerves to restore their patience levels.
