I thought he would get over it after a while since our schedule's been packed these last couple of months but now during our time off everything just came back to him and it's worse than before.

It's complicated..Our lifestyles are complete opposites. He's busy, I'm studying. He's an idol and everything he does can cause a scandal and it will hurt not only him but also you guys. And you've gone through enough shit in your careers, and I don't want to be the reason behind another backlash.

It just.. wouldn't work.

Trust me, I wish it could. I really care for him but it's not worth it for him.

There's a thing you should know about Youngjae

He's only ever fallen in love once before, and he had to break up with her after we debuted because they didn't have time for each other. After that he never really liked someone again, like actually having deep feelings for someone. He never knew he could fall for someone again, let alone consider being in a relationship. Alex, you're the only one he's ever felt this strongly about that he doesn't let your lack of time hold him back from wanting to be with you. Trust me, he would try and do *everything* to make it work, he doesn't care how different your lifestyles are.

And hey, just because we've gone through some hardships doesn't mean that you both deserve to be hurting because of it. There are ways to make it work, can't you at least try before you give up? I appreciate that you care about our reputation, but don't let that stop you from finding happiness in each other.

I know I said this was an angst-free zone, but what's any book without some kind of drama, eh? 

I just wanted to say that I've caught up to my pre-written chapters, so the upcoming updates might be a bit more sporadic. But I'll try my best to write efficiently to keep up anyways! I'm suspecting the chapter count will be around 50 in total, but that's nothing I can confirm at the moment xD
