Cat Noir's Point of view
"Adrien, why did you have to plan that with Ladybug?" Plagg complained.
"She lost someone close to her, Plagg." Adrien told him, annoyed. "I know what it feel like to lose someone." With that, Plagg shut up and ate his cheese.
The next day, he met Ladybug at six. She was already there. To his surprise, there was a cot, blanket, sheet and clock behind her.
"You're here!" she said, happily.
Cat Noir smiled. "Of course!" he told her. "I'm always happy to help a friend." She smiled, though it didn't seem genuine. "Can you tell me what your favorite thing was? he asked.
"When we would share secrets." she responded. "But," she frowned in a sad manner. "I never told them I was Ladybug. That's what I most regret." She told him.
"My father and I never talk." Cat Noir said. "He's always working." She smiled sympathetically. "I lost my mom two years ago."
"I'm sorry." She responded. "I didn't know." She said. "Does it ever get easier?" She asked. "Cause I feel so useless without my parents. Like I am a burden."
"LB, you are anything but a burden," he told her. "You save Paris. You help people in need."
Ladybug looked down. "Anytime I see a whole family, I'm reminded of them." she started crying and sat on the cot. "And then I want the miraculous again."
Cat Noir nodded. "I know what you mean. Anytime I see Marinette, I am reminded of my mom. They are both so kind and amazing." He frowned. "But I don't know where to find her now."
Ladybug looked down. "Maybe she's staying at a friend's house?"
He shook his head. "She'd stay at Alya's and I checked there. Do you know," he asked.
"No," she said. "I don't talk to her a lot."
"Oh," he said. "Okay." He thought for a moment. "Are you staying here?" He asked.
"I have no place else to go." She responded. "I don't want to go to a friend's house. I'd feel like even more of a burden."
He shook his head. "Did you use your money to buy this, or was it already yours?" She nodded.
"I have $10.00 left." She told him. "I can't get a job because of being Ladybug," she explained.
"I can help," he offered.
Ladybug shook her head. "No. I don't want your money." she exclaimed. "I'll find a way to get it myself."
He shook his head again. "You're just like Marinette." He told her. "Independent and stubborn. But those are some of the traits I like about you." He thought for a moment. "Can you design?" She nodded. "I can get you, as Ladybug, a job."
"What? But-" he cur her off.
"Trust me." He told her. "Meet me at the Agreste Mansion at 6 tomorrow instead of here. " She nodded. "Good," he hugged her. "I'll see you tomorrow. Bye, Milady." He went home.

She did as at Noir told her. At 6, she was at the Agreste Mansion. She waited for Cat Noir. "Milady," he arrived. "Let's go in." He rang the doorbell."
"Yes," the camera came out. "Come in." They went to Mr. Agreste's office.
"Have a seat," he said, monotone. To say she was nervous was an understatement. "Do you have a design of yours with you?" Gabriel asked. She nodded and showed him. "You have talent, Ladybug." he told her. "May I ask why you chose to get a job as Ladybug and not as your civilian identity?"
She hesitated. "II can't get a job as my civilian self because I will have to leave without explaining anytime there is an akuma attack," she explained, "I would get fired quickly."
He nodded. "Very well. You can work from wherever you stay and bring them in when you finish."
"Thank you, Mr. Agreste." she exclaimed.
"That is all," he said, "You may go." She did as she was told and left.
She and Cat Noir went back to her place. "Thank you!" She exclaimed. "I don't know how to thank you enough!"
"It was no problem, LB." He responded.
When he left, she sighed. Was she falling for her kitty?

Adrien Point of view
The next day, Marinette was already at school. He overheard Chloe say. "So you decided to come today? I thought you'd be mourning your stupid parents." He saw Marinette tear up.
He ran up. "Chloe, that isn't nice. " he told her, angrily. "Don't pick on her for losing someone she loved." He turned to Marinette. "I need to talk to you." He led her outside. "If anyone bullies you, tell me." He told her. "I want to help. I know what it is like to lose someone." She nodded. "Marinette, where are you staying?" He was curious.
She looked away. "Just...with a friend." She lied. Adrien could tell, but he wouldn't push her.
Suddenly, an akuma was in the vicinity. He told Mari to run and transformed. The akuma could bring back the dead. Mari's parents were back and so was Adrien's mom."
*After the battle*
He saw Ladybug hesitate. Neither of them wanted to use Ladybug's lucky charm, but they had to.
"Miraculous Ladybug!" She exclaimed, then burst into tears.
"Detransform and meet at your place." She nodded.
*At the house*
She was sobbing. She couldn't stop. Cat Noir tried to comfort her. "NO!" She cried. "They were alive and I didn't even talk to them!" She cried. "I need them."
Cat Noir put his hand on her shoulder. "I understand. My mom was there too. I wish I could have told her." Ladybug couldn't stop crying. "LB," she cut him off.
"Kids got to see their parents again." she exclaimed. "We took that away from everyone who experienced it." She looked up. "I need them."
Cat Noir stood up. "Ladybug, please. I think I know what's going through your mind. I know it is hard, but we can't sacrifice someone's life." He explained.
"Why?" ladybug demanded. "Why do we always have to be heroes?" She asked, her eyes wild. "Why can't we be happy?"
"LB, as heroes, yes, we have bad in us," he told her, "but we have to be the best part of ourselves."
Her eyes went dark. "I need them!" she told him. "Why can't I have them back?"
He grabbed her hands tightly so that she couldn't grab his miraculous. She tried to fight back. "When you lose someone," he explained, "you lose a part of yourself you can never get back. As time went by, it gets easier, but never easy. You'll always miss them." He kept a tight grip on her hands. "You'll always have them. In your heart."
She cried. "I almost betrayed you again." She told him. "I almost tried to take your miraculous." She looked down. "My parents wouldn't want anyone to die because I was alone."
He hugged her. "Keep them close at heart." he told her. "You'll always have them with you." Her eyes were still wild and he's have to keep an eye on her. If she betrayed him, he wouldn't be able to stop her.
