It had been a few weeks since Benji and I had talked. Whenever we did it was extremely dry and I still wasn't entirely sure what I did wrong. I asked Syd about it, but he just said that I should try and watch what I say, and that Benji will come around.
God I had hopped so. I missed him, more than I thought I would. I miss his inappropriate jokes. His voice, his eyes..
fuck.
I had to pull myself out of these sort of thoughts, they did nothing for me. Plus I had bigger problems, I was moving.
My mother told me this morning, we were going to fucking Barcelona.
I had a lot of boxes packed already, I started on my fifth one when my phone rang, signaling that I was getting a facetime.
I clicked answer and Syd's face popped up onto the screen
"Hey shitbag how- wait why do you have so many boxes? ARE YOU COMING TO LIVE WITH ME? PLEASE SAY YES PLEASE SAY YES" Syd yelled causing me to laugh. Even in the worst times he always could make me feel better.

"My mother told me we're moving to fucking Barcelona, do you know how sucky that is?" I ask as I run a hand through my hair and then continue with another box.

"Hmm..Benji lives in Barcelona." Syd said innocently and then pretended to be fascinated with something on his desk.
I choked on like the air, and ended up sputtering and coughing.

"Benji LIVES IN BARCELONA! AND NOBODY TOLD ME THIS??" I practically yelled. I knew it was said he lived near me, but I didn't know that meant like FIVE HOURS AWAY near me. I wanted to pull my hair out. What if I saw him in Barcelona? Fuck that'd be so awkward. Then I realized there were like five million people, and the chances of me seeing him were very very slim.
Syd and I talked for awhile longer before I had to go due to my mother yelling at me to get off the phone.
"lov u syd"
"lov u too bitch bye"
"bye"
Then the phone call ended. The correct way this time. I felt the need to text Benji. I missed him.
