Maybe Syd was right. I should give Benji a chance, he's attractive, funny, and he apparently lives close to me? It sounds too good to be true though. I've always had my heart broken by people who told me stupid things and promised shit that wasn't true and I was beyond sick of it. I wanted to have a happy love life, I really did, but I gave up after the last one. It just hurt too much.
I felt the urge to text Benji again, but I didn't want to bother him, despite the fact I was the one who ended the conversation. Did he even like talking to me? What if he just pretended he did for Syd's sake? My head pounded, it hurt.
I went and grabbed some medicine then laid down. I needed a long nap.
