Chapter 15

Haechan held hands with Taeyong as they made their way to the training area. Haechan had insisted on going and Taeyong was starting to miss his mate anyway. The taller ran his finger over his neck, feeling the fresh mate mark.

"Yongie! You and Jae mated!" Haechan repeatedly smacked the omega's arm waiting for a response. Before Taeyong could answer, Jaehyun had wrapped an arm around his mate and was giving his brother a playful look.

"Ah, Channie you're too young to know about stuff like that." Haechan stomped his foot as Taeyong held his laugh in.

"You're only older by like twenty seconds!" Jaehyung laughed before looking at the approaching alpha.

He stood a few inches taller than Jaehyun, his muscular figure was moving gracefully towards the trio. Jaehyun could have smelled him long before he saw him. Haechan's mate was indeed a strong alpha. Jaehyun pulled his mate closer as Haechan pulled the alpha over.

"Jae this is my mate Lucas! Isn't he perfect!" Jaehyun couldn't help but smile as his brother. He knew that ever since he had found his mate Haechan was worried he would be alone forever. He nodded his head before looking at the alpha.

"I'm Haechan's brother, Jaehyun." Lucas's eyes widened. First the dad and now the brother, it was going to be a long day.

Jaehyun laughed at the boy's expression, "Don't worry I won't rip your head off... I can't say the same for my father though." Haechan was quick to smack his brother on the head.

Taeyong took Haechan to the side so the alpha's could have some time to talk. "He won't hate you forever, he's just really protective over Haechan and I. Mostly Haechan, that's his baby." Jaehyun expected the alpha to be annoyed, or even angry.

Lucas nodded his head, "I don't blame him. Haechan is... amazing. I haven't even been able to talk to him yet, but I can understand why the Alpha didn't want him to leave." Jaehyun was shocked, not only had he given up his right to be the alpha of his old pack but he was also understanding of his father's actions.

"I'll do whatever it takes to prove myself. I'll do anything for Haechan." Jaehyun clapped Lucas on the shoulder.

"You keep saying stuff like that and my mother is going to love you." Lucas smiled, until he heard the Alpha enter.

The amount of people surrounding the training area was unbelievable. All of the pack hunters were there, mostly just excited to see their alpha rip the head off his son's mate.

"Boy, come here." Jungkook's voice was strong and booming. He was clearly not in a very good mood and Lucas didn't know if to apologize or just stay quiet. Lucas walked over to the dirt area, the sky clearly about to start raining soon. "To be a part of this pack, every wolf has to pass the test."

The other hunter wolves all yelled together, "Test him!" The atmosphere was thick with tension. Lucas gulped, he had never had to really fight anyone before, he wasn't much of a fighter.

"Okay Alpha, sir." Lucas bowed which made Jungkook's glare harden. "Don't sass me boy. I don't like to be disrespected." Jungkook walked over to the small battle area, which was now becoming a muddy puddle. Lucas followed the alpha, he had to admit he was kinda nervous. But if this was what needed to be done to be with Haechan, he would do anything.

The sky had cut loose, large amounts of rain came pouring down on the two fighters and the viewers. Haechan was begging his brother to let him stay. "But I want to! I have a right to watch my mate!"

Jaehyun sighed, "Fine, but if this doesn't go well Channie, I warned you. Dad doesn't usually go easy on a normal wolf. This isn't a normal thing."
