Lucy's POV
The dry green grass around me and on my back made me feel at ease. I slowly opened my eyes, revealing a bright blue sky. The only clouds there were fluffy and pure white.
I sat up straight and noticed that the only unpleasant thing was my splitting fucking headache. The field around me looked golden and endless. It was beautiful. In fact it may have been the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. So far.
I stood up and turned around to see if I could explore. I didn't question why I was there for a while. Maybe it was because it seemed so familiar. Maybe it was because I felt at home. I immediately saw 5 doors about 20 feet away from me. The one all the way to the left had a lightning bolt on it. The next had a key on the front. Then, the next had a snowflake.
And finally was a door that gave me the creeps. It was darker brown than the other doors and had a red and black dragon on the front. Something made me want to avoid it. And so I thought.I have read this in books and manga. There is always something crazy on the other side of the doors. I took wild guesses. I moved door to door, naming what would lie behind them.
"The first! You are definitely a lightning storm! Second! Are a dungeon full of scary monsters! Third! You are a winter so cold that not even a polar bear could survive in! And last! You are a dragon so fierce and powerful that it could take out all of Japan in one breath!"No POV
Lucy turned around and covered her face, laughing hysterically.
"BAHAHAHAH! You thought you could fool me, doors!? Well, you thought wrong!! I will overcome-" Lucy cut herself off. What was she doing? Had the headache had an affect on her mind? She didn't even act this way when she was alone. And that was saying something. She raised her hands to her face and slapped her cheeks.
"These delusions of mine..." She walked toward the first door on the left, opening it and walking inside. She closed the door behind her and took in the white room around her.
"Wow, talk about spotless...
.
Ugh who am I even talking to?" Lucy looked to the side as she finished her sentence, continuing to walk as she did so. She let out a screech and stopped abruptly when she saw some kind of hologram appear in front of her. It was translucent black and there were things popping onto the screen. The 3D figure of a man appeared in black. The figure spun slowly, giving Lucy a look of his layout (not including the obvious).
He was a man of 6"3 and was completely packed with muscles. He had large but narrow eyes, one of which a scar had run through. He had short hair and a large jaw. Along with a tattoo on his chest."Who's this clown?" Lucy questioned out loud. Three buttons appeared next to the figure. They read "Personality", "Background", "Abilities". Lucy clicked the one that said "Personality" and was taken to another screen.
"Laxus Dreyar is a tall man with a deep voice...." that's where it ended. She clicked on the next button. It had the same thing. It was blank. The next was the same.
Lucy sighed in confusion. "What's the point in having these buttons if they don't have any info on them?"
"It's so that you can fill them out." a low pitched voice came from behind her. She whipped her head around and saw a tall man. He had ear length red hair and dark yellow eyes hidden behind short red eyelashes. He was quite handsome. But he barely met Lucy's standards. He had a weird sense of style and didn't seem to have any physical strength there for him whatsoever. Lucy narrowed her eyes and backed up, clicking a button that said "close" on the screen. The hologram disappeared.
