Chapter 12

Author POV

She woke up feeling refreshed and over the moon. She got out of bed did her morning routine and was about to set off to see Severus. Before that however she  decided to walk around the grounds first and just let the memory of last night sink in.

She was deep in thought at the lake when someone's voice shook her out of her trance, " Fancy meeting you here (Y/N)." She spun on my heel to find Tony about 5 feet away from her, her wrist burned and she was reminded of how they left things the night before.

"I'll get going then." She said curtly making her way past him, she has no idea how she knew to jerk away before he got his hand on her but she did. When she turned around there he was - hand extended in an effort to grab her wrist yet again.

"Don't you ever presume to touch me again." She spat ferociously glaring at him. He looked stunned for a bit but then smirked bitterly.

"Oh, so I can't touch you but the dungeon bat can ?" He said, his voice dripping with venom. Her heart stopped but she was careful to control her reaction, she looked at him and replied :

"Are you serious? You call Professor Snape protecting a student from someone who was about to hurt them me letting him 'touch' me?" She air quoted touch and continued, " I'm sorry to disappoint you love, but that's what teachers are supposed to do." She said crossing her arms over her chest and turning around walking back to the castle.

As soon as she made it to the hallway leading to where the Sytherin dorms were she stopped moving, her heart was beating so loud and hard it actually hurt. She could hear the blood rushing in her ears. Crap, he wouldn't have said something like that if he didn't see anything. I have to be more careful.

She made her way to Snape's classroom and went inside without knocking. Yes it was rude but there were more important things to deal with at the moment. "I need to talk to you." She said slowly after closing and putting a silencing charm on the door. He looked up from his desk and his eyes softened.

"By all means." He said while gesturing for her to sit down. She complied and threaded her fingers, a nervous habit she was yet to break. She took a deep breath before meeting his dark gaze, she hardened her gaze and blocked out the nervousness of what she was about to ask him.

"What am I to you? I have already told you how much you mean to me, I told you that I want you and I still do, but I need to know if this is going anywhere or if it is just a joke to you." She said not breaking eye contact with him, he looked taken aback before composing himself and smirking. He got up and walked around his desk leaning back on it when he was on her side.

Not just some joke to me, I do like you (Y/N). You are smart, beautiful and passionate about what you do, you protect the people you love irrespective of what they do, and let me tell you a secret " he said grabing her hand and pulling her to her feet, grabbing her waist and pulling her closer. He went close to her ear and whispered in a deep husky voice.

"I want you too." Then crashed his lips into hers , it was soft and sweet. Their lips moving in sync, he swiped at her bottom lip asking for permission which she quickly denied him, putting her hands on his chest and pushing slightly.

Her eyes fluttered open and she found him staring intently at her, she cleared her throat and said "In that case, I want to be in a relationship with you. A real one, but we can't show it to everyone and I don't want us to keep things from each other." He hummed and his hand on her waist started rubbing light circles to calm her.
