Carlos grabbed the food from the worker and went back to the table and sat next to Jason.

"Gotta scorch on in there, yup, okay. Alright time to eat." Carlos started.

Carlos opened the bag and the food had its odor fill the room with delight. The smell made the three of them become hungrier. Everybody's bellies rumbled smelling the food.

They needed to work out a plan with Jason because they need Jason to understand the big deal about being the great alpha. He is already confused about everything and just needs space to breathe.

"Jason" Carlos called out his name waiting for a response. Jason was currently chewing on his food.

"Yeah" Jason replied with his mouth filled with a little bit of the delicious food.

Carlos looked at Hayley and nodded.

"Do you know why it is important to be the great alpha?" Hayley asked.

"No, not really I mean you guys just spilled everything to me and I'm confused about everything. Can you guys go back to the start about the history of us - I mean our kind? Like, Carlos how did you know I was the alpha before you transformed out of your wolf?"

"I knew you were the alpha because of your eyes; They were brighter than mine, but I believed you were king alpha. I found out you were the great alpha when the moon was shown on your eyes that day. They were brighter than the moons beam. That's why I told you to howl because if I was right and you were the great alpha the last great alpha before you would've come out of you as it did." Carlos said. "Which means I am still king alpha."

"The history you mean do you mean like how the wolves began or how the great alpha began?" Hayley asked Jason.

"I guess both."

"I guess they do go together, don't they. Well, the gods made the great alpha and the great alpha chose who he wanted his pack. Which is why we can transform in and out of our wolf and the human form. The only way you can be a wolf is if you were born into it-" Hayley was interrupted by Carlos who continued.

"Unless you are the great alpha only god can choose you."

"Wow, I was chosen by God?"Jason said. His eyes widen and turned blue from the response. "Wait, why?"

"Don't question God!" Hayley snarled. Hayley was upset because everyone in the pack must be very religious and always pray to god. It's the very reason why they must stop the other packs because they harm God's creatures. They also harmed the last great alpha and they must pay for their actions and be cleansed with their sins. Jason's Pack is very protective over Jason because they don't want the same fate.

"I'm not! I'm just confused that's all."

"Cool your jets tiger, he still is confused let's finish explaining everything to him before we get our tails in a knot okay." Carlos tried calming down Hayley.

"Is there more to understand?" Jason asked.

"Yes, Jason you and only you have magic. That comes from God." Carlos replied.

"Magic?" Jason questioned in surprise. "Why am I being told this now?"

"Because we don't know how to unlock your magic only you can do that."

"Well shit." Jason angrily bit into a fry. "The one thing that I needed help on that is really cool y'all cant help me."

"We are a genuinely sorry dude," Carlos said.

"Doesn't matter anyways Jason what you need help, in the long run, is your fighting," Hayley said.

"very true, babe."

"Is it that bad?"

"yes!" Carlos and Hayley said in unison.

The trio finished their food and took off. Carlos and Hayley tried their best to explain more about being the great alpha and the pack in general while taking Jason home to his parents.
