"Uh, Hi dad," Jason said in a trembling voice.
"Hi?" His father replied with a questionable tone. "Why are you in here?" He asked.
"Your son had a mild panic attack. This young man's father drove him here and this young man saved your son." The doctor was pointing out Carlos.
Jason's father approached Carlos with a warming smile. "Thank you for your heroic behavior. What is your name son?" He asked.
"Carlos sir."
"Do you know my son well or did you find him panicking." His father asked.
"We've known each other for a long time now," Carlos replied.
"Ah," Jason's dad said. His father seemed quite cheerful it made Carlos wonder if he should just come out and say "hey I'm your son's boyfriend and I love him" but he couldn't. He couldn't watch his smile frown and destroy Jason. Although his look kind of gave everything away that he and Jason were hiding something. "So why were you panicking Jason?" His father sat down next to Jason facing Carlos and patting Jason's shoulder.
Carlos watched the man who had silver-green eyes, short brown hair, deep macho voice, and an outstanding six foot four built man ask Jason the worst question possible. Carlos couldn't handle the heat of the situation.
Jason just looking into his father's innocent eyes and looking back to Carlos. His blood pressure went up.
The doctor feeling as nervous as the boys he had to exit out the room but when doing so. Jason entered into a code blue.
The doctor ran back inside to find Jason lying down and rushing everybody outside. His father began to do CPR on his own kid.
Carlos went outside and watched everything through a glass window as other doctors and nurses fled into Jason's room like geese.
Carlos held onto his father crying. "Jason wakes up, please wake up!" Watching his beloved boyfriend go through cardiac arrest. Even he couldn't handle the pain.
"What's happening?" Carlos's father asked.
"He's having a code blue!" Carlos exclaimed in fear. "Wake up babe!" Carlos didn't control his volume but when he yelled that Jason came back.
The doctors were able to stabilize Jason and in relief Carlos ran back into the room after the doctors pulled out, Greeting Jason's father.
"Hi," Carlos said nervously.
"Hi," Jason's dad said back.
"I take it you heard me." Carlos looked down at the floor while his father joined him into the room.
"He's gay? Isn't he?" Jasons' father asked.
"Yes," Carlos admitted.
"Is there any chance he likes women." Jasons' father asked.
"No," Carlos answered.
"Thank you."
"You're not mad or upset."
"Mad, no. Upset, yes."
"May I ask why you're upset."
"He was willing to die instead of telling me or his mother." Jason's dad looked over at Jason. He began to analyze Jason's face. "I love my son no matter what." He began to cry.
