Into the wild

Running with the pack made Jason super happy. He could run forever if his legs allowed him too. With little running experience, his legs grew tiresome. When Carlos saw that Jason was beginning to slow down getting tired he led everyone to the river slowly without losing the packs formation where everyone can rest. After everyone was done drinking the water of the river. Carlos asked for just Jason to go for a walk with him and that the pack can go do their business elsewhere just not too far away. Carlos took Jason to a cliff that was merged in with a rock. Carlos then started howling to the pretty blue moon while Jason looked at the moon and his eyes glowed so much the light stopped Carlos' howl and he looked at Jason.

"Omg Jason"

"Yeah, what's wrong?"

"Ju-Just howl" Carlos said with a concerned tone.

"Okay" Jason howled and his howl filled everyone up with shivers down their spine and as he howled a mist went out of Jason and the mist started howling too. They were both connected in away. Jason stopped howling and the mist went away. "Omg, Carlos did you see that?" He got excited, stood up, and wagged his tail. "Did you see that? wow, that was so cool!"

"That was the great alpha years ago. I never met him but I heard great stories about him" Carlos said. "No pun intended " he smirked.

"What happened to him?" Jason asked hoping it was nothing bad and it was just old age.

"He passed away fighting he never went down without a fight. I heard that when he fought with the other packs they cheated him. They got together to get rid of the great alpha. I mean it wasn't really much they did to hurt him. He fell off a ledge and when he fell a mist of his spirit just like what happened he still fought and tore up the leaders of each pack that tried to hurt him or did hurt him."

"Jeez, Why did the packs fight?" Jason asked.

"They are still fighting to this day because they believed they didn't need the great alpha and they were better than him. The great alpha was supposed to lead us to the very end and when he passed there wasn't much we could do but to pass on his name. That's why we need you Jason" Carlos said looking up to Jason and with a smile, Carlos licked Jason's snout and said "we need you to help us fight them. You are more powerful than anyone of us. We will all help you learn how to fight." He paused. "I thought you were king alpha, no you are the great alpha. That makes more sense since you didn't know you were a wolf."

"Okay umm I really don't like fighting but if it is needed then I'm in Carlos," Jason said with a stern voice.

Carlos nodded his head and stood up. He walked over towards Jason's ear and whispered. "Hey let's go play I'm getting excited and not the excited you're thinking."

"Oh, OOHH, okay," Jason said getting excited as well he then licked Carlos's snout.
