After a long frightful car ride to the hospital, Jason was booked in and was being checked up by a doctor.
"So what brings you in today Jason?" The doctor asked.
"Just a minor panic attack," Jason replied.
"May I ask what you were panicking about? " the doctor asked.
"No, I'd rather keep that to myself. " Jason replied.
"All right but I have to tell your mom and dad about this anyways, you are their child it's the rules. " the doctor said.
"Can we please keep out the fact that I had a panic attack, please? " Jason asked.
"I'm afraid not." the doctor replied.
"Of course," Jason said.
Carlos was in the room while hearing all of this and it made Carlos feel scared. He started biting his nails and was fidgeting. Jason looked over to Carlos and watched him. He began to get scared as well, his heart was pumping and his heart rate was going up by the minute.
"I'm scared for you but I'm also here for you," Carlos said.
"What do I do?" Jason asked in Hopes Carlos would know the answer to his problems.
"Just tell the truth." Carlos watched Jason Cry from his words. Which was making him cry too? "Listen my dad is in the other room if anything escalates I'll bring him in."
"I just don't want to lose you," Jason admitted. "If my parents don't like what they're about to hear and they say we can't be together." Jason paused trying to collect his breathing and continued. "Please promise me we will still see each other." He looked at Carlos's beautiful aquamarine eyes and his perfect tears.
"I promise babe." He proceeded to kiss Jason on the forehead as the doctor walked in.
"I see why you don't want your dad and mother to know." The doctor interrupted their moment.
"Please don't say anything." Jason pleaded.
The doctor took a second to watch the boys cry and their eyes asked for mercy on their hearts. "I already called your dad he is on his way." The doctor began. "I won't tell him about any of this and every question he asks I'll do my best to answer for you. I know your picking problem so I'll lie for you."
"Oh my God thank you!" Carlos exclaimed.
"Thank you so much, sir." Jason thanked the doctor.
"It's alright I have a lesbian daughter so I understand where you coming from, but I'm pretty sure your dad will love you no matter what. You should really talk to him even if it goes wrong."
Moments later Jason's dad walked in. "Talk to me about what?" He asked.
