The sky and my eyes synced as they both produce endless drops of water. Quickly, they're falling, following the rhythm of my heartbeat. I just heard the word "Mexico", then just like that, past comes to life...
"You are the best babe..."
"I came back for you, I missed you so much..."
"It's just you. You're my one and only... Te amo..."
" I just don't love you anymore..."
"I like her, she seems nice..."
"Yes, we're together now..."
and I quickly pushed the memories aside, as if it's some sort of a disease I have to avoid. He made it all clear. Why can't I just believe what he said!
Well, how can I? It happened too fast. He replaced me just like that. He didn't even take a day to do so.
"Not again Kate, not again." I whisper to myself as I dry my cheeks. "Enough, he's gone."
