As for the autistic people, we know there's a saying in this too. The saying is autism isn't a choice, but acceptance is. For this part, that's when society ignores us. Truth is you're either born with it or developed it. I developed Asperger's syndrome when I was 8. Society is our everyday problem and when it comes to acceptance, they have a choice to make which is their challenge. It's either they accept or deny us. What do they choose? They deny us. Another thing is that other folks look at the disability instead of the ability.
