What happened to the olden times?
To all the laughs and smiles.
Talks till midnight,
No matter how much we would fight.
Dancing and playing,
Not understanding what each of us were saying.
Then why did you have to leave?
Leave me behind to grieve.
Alone in the dark,
As a soul with a mark.
You left behind a broken heart,
One which no one could mend.
What about our foolish art
And our silly little trend?
You wouldn't come back.
Not for a thousand years,
Nor a thousand tears.
My hand is hanging free
Without yours holding it, beside me.
I have only one thing in mind,
Why did you have to leave all this behind?
