Joanne- One word challenge

Pillow

The first Christmas Joe and Dianne where together as a couple they didn't actually get to spend together. Joe was spending it with his dad in Wiltshire whilst Dianne was spending it with her family in Australia. They where both going to miss each other terribly as they had hardly spent any time apart the last couple of months. Throughout the competition they had been each other's rocks and even though they hadn't won the competition neither of them could be any happier.

As they weren't going to be together Joe and Dianne decided to have an early Christmas so they could give each other their presents. They opened their present one by one till there was one finally present left for Dianne. Dianne slowly opened it to reveal and pillow with a picture on it. Dianne gave Joe a funny look wondered who the picture was and why he was giving it in her. Once Joe explained that it was a picture of him when he was little and the pillow was for her to hug when she missed him she found it incredibly sweet. The next morning Dianne was getting ready to make her way to the airport. She checked her luggage to make sure she had everything before grabbing the pillow and placing it on top and closing the suitcase.

After a long flight Dianne finally made it to Australia. She was so glad to be with her family but she was already missing Joe. After having a conversation with her family for a little while she decided to go to bed as she was very tired and very jet lagged. She opened her suitcase grabbing a t shirt of Joe's to put on before brushing her teeth and grabbing the pillow and getting into bed. When she woke up a few hours later she felt much better. She grabbed her phone and decided to ring Joe before going downstairs. She kept her arms wrapped around the pillow as she spoke to Joe both of them telling each other how much they where missing them. Throughout the holiday when she was missing Joe she would go and find the pillow and give it a hug and call Joe. By the end of the holiday she decided the pillow was the best present she had ever been given.
