Percy's POV:

It felt amazing to be back, better than new but I was also aware that I was now crying in front of everyone. I cleared my throat before standing up. Roxy was still standing where she was when I told her I was disappointed in her. Honestly, I wasn't because I knew she would never use her power for bad. I walked over and kneeled so I was down to her level.

"I'm sorry. I know I'm a lousy father and that I haven't always been but you have to promise me that you'll remember how much I love you. And, I would never be disapointed in you, no matter how much I tried," I told her as she silently cried. Why was she crying? Did I say something? The wind was knocked out of me as Roxy jumped into my arms.

"I promise daddy," she said laughing. I chuckled and stood up so I could spin her around. Once I had placed her down, I turned my attention to the gods and demi-gods who were looking at me like I was an alien.

"Now that everything has been settled here, it's time for me and family to be leaving," I said gesturing to the squadron, primordials and my children and wife, who is probably going to kill me later. The remaining seven nodded reluctantly and came up and hugged me individually.

"Wait,"Chiron said," before you go,please, stay for the camp fire," Chiron pleaded. I turned to the squadron who were smiling understandingly.

"Ok but we must leave after that," I said with authority. He nodded and we all dispersed to go get ready.

**********

I was right. They did try killing me. Thank god, Aeth stepped in before any damage could be done. When the horn went off, we all made our way towards the camp fire. We all sat down and cosied up for warmth. Zeus stood and went onto the little stage that was provided.

"In the last few years, so much has happened. We've all expercianced pain, loss, happiness, joy and angst. But like always we have pulled through. Although we may not pay attention to our children, it's not because we don't love them,it's because we are protecting them. You might find that excuse unworthy but it's the only one we have. To my understanding, Chiron wanted to say something," Almost everyone stared at him in shock as he walked off the stage. However, our attention turned to Chiron when he walked on stage.

"I have been alive for a very long time and I have seen many things. But in all my time I have never seen a hero like Perseus. He instantly showed loyalty and bravery and then went on to prove himself further through his quests. He wasn't arrogant and he didn't expect people to treat him like a god. All he wanted was family and friends. And what did we do? We betrayed him. We have no right asking him to stay but he did anyway because that's the kind of person he is. He forgives and he moves on,but he shouldn't have to. We sit here and act like everything is perfectly fine but in reality it's not. This man, who is the best person I have ever met, is a hero.  I am proud to say that I knew Perseus Jackson and it has been an honour to teach him,"Chiron finished and I could already tell that my face is beet red. I walked onto the stage and hugged Chiron.

"Thank you," I whispered in his ear.

"No thank you," he said when we seperated.

"Well if everyone is doing speeches, it's our turn," Aeth said as all the primordials stood up. Confused, I returned to my seat.
