The Bad Boy (a star wars au)

Kylo Ren

"I hate you," Rey said to the boys.

"You just met us, you can't hate us," Poe said.

"I- yes I can," Rey said.

She had never been asked to leave class before, ever. She was a good student. And on top of that it had to be the first day at a new school.

"Come one Rey we're sorry," Finn said.

"Yeah," Poe said, "And you have no one else so you're stuck with us."

Rey groaned, "fine but you two have to keep your mouths shut for the rest of class."

The door to the principal's office opened, " Come in." The principal looked very annoyed and once Rey saw who walked out of her office she understood why.

Kylo Ren walked out of the office. Once again him and Rey made direct eye contact, he nodded in acknowledgement but continued on his way.

"What was that about?" Finn asked quietly.

Rey shrugged, "let's just get this over with."

Rey, Finn and Poe sat down.

"I don't even want to know," the principal said. " You may go."

"That's it?" Rey asked.

"Don't make it worse," Finn hissed.

"Yes that's it, get out of my office."

They  quickly left the office. Rey wasn't scared of much but the principal was not someone she wanted to be on the bad side of. The bell rang as the left and classes started to be let out for lunch.

"Guess I'll see you later," Rey said, starting off towards her locker.

"Haha, you're not getting away from us that easily. At least have lunch with us?" Poe asked.

"Fine," Rey smiled. "Let's go."

Just then a dark figure stepped in front of Rey, she looked up and was face to face with Kylo Ren.

"I- I'll catch up," Rey mumbled.

"Yeah ok," Finn said, already walking away.

"Hey," Kylo Ren said.

"Can I help you?" Rey asked.

"Yeah, what's your name baby?" Kylo Ren asked.

"Rey," she said, "and don't call me baby."

"Why not? I saw you looking at me earlier," Kylo Ren said.

"I was curious," Rey said shortly.

"They all are."

"Confident are we?" Rey rolled her eyes.

"You seem to be," Kylo said.

"I was talking about you," Rey said.

"But I want to know about you."

Rey scoffed, "wow girls really fall for you, don't they? They all must fall head over heels for Kylo Ren and his delightful attitude and personality."

"So you know who I am?" He asked.

"I've heard some things," Rey snapped.

"All good things I hope."

"Does it matter?"

"Well I wouldn't want other people filling your head with their thoughts and lies about me, that's my job." As Kylo said this he leaned and dropped his tone.

Rey felt herself lean in as well, "is that what you do? Fill girls heads with lies?" Rey whispered.

"Amongst other things," Kylo whispered as well. "I like secrets."

"Like what?" Rey asked.

"Well I was hoping you'd tell me some." Kylo's lips so close to Rey she could feel his breath on her neck as he whispered in her ear.

Rey shivered and drew back, "maybe some other time. Have a good day."

"You too... Rey." Kylo said before walking off.
