Drinks on me

Rey had finally decided on a black skirt that barely covered anything and a dark blue tube top. She felt very self conscious but she took a breath and walked out of the bathroom. "What do you think?" She stood in front of the boys.

    "Wow," Finn breathed, "you look amazing."

    Rey laughed awkwardly and tugged down her skirt.

    "You clean up well," Poe said, "now lets do your makeup."

    Rey sat down on a box in front of Poe who had laid out all her makeup.

    "I'm assuming you know what you're doing?" Poe asked Rey.

    She nodded, "enough."

    After about an hour Rey had finished her makeup and consumed 4 slices of pizza which she didn't feel good about because she was wearing tight clothing. Anyway, about an hour later the friends were ready to leave.

    "You got the address right?" Rey asked Finn.

    "Yeah it's in the old athletics building," Finn said.

              "That's on the other side of campus," Rey groaned.

               "Just carry your shoes," Poe said, "or we'll carry you. You know what, just wear flats."

"Thank god, those things are death traps," Rey said, throwing her heels across the room.

"So are we ready?" Finn asked impatiently, he was nervous.

"Yes let's go," Rey said.

The old athletic building would've seemed completely abandoned if it weren't for the music blasting from the inside of it and the fact that a beer bottle had just been thrown out the window nearly missing Rey.

"Sorry," a tall ginger boy stuck his head out the window.

"It's ok," Rey called back as she stepped around the broken pieces.

"Hux, don't throw things, remember last time," Mandy said loudly, she then poked her head out the broken window. "Come on in you guys!"

Rey and her friends walked into the gym and Mandy made a b line towards them.

"I'm sorry about him," she said referring to the boy she had called Hux.

"It's fine really," Rey said. "But I would like to leave with all my body parts attached so watch it."

Hux laughed, "do you want a drink?"

"Sure," Rey said.

"I'll get you one." It was Kylo Ren, of course.

"I think Hux is perfectly capable of getting me a drink," Rey said.

"Yeah but do you trust him, he just tried to take you out with a beer bottle, who knows what he'll do next," Kylo said jokingly.

"Fuck you," Hux said laughed. "Well then boys, would you like drinks?"

"Please," Poe said.

"I don't drink," Finn said.

Kylo Ren and Hux laughed, "we both know that's not true."

"Oh?" Rey said.

"Guys don't," Finn said.

Poe could sense the tension in the group, "why don't we get those drinks now."

"Good idea," Finn said quickly.

"What was that about?" Rey asked Mandy once the boys had gone to get drinks.

"I'm not sure, I don't really know your friends," Mandy said, "I just know he used to "run errands" for us."

"Interesting," Rey said.

"Never mind that though. You look amazing," Mandy said.

"Thank you," Rey said, "so do you. Anyway what's with you and Kylo Ren. You seem to be the complete opposite of him, you're so bright and bubbly and he's so," Rey stopped trying to find her words.

"Not," Mandy said, finishing her sentence.

"Yeah," Rey giggled.

"I'm the daughter of one of the generals so I hang around the Starkiller a lot. I've seen so much death I just decided that being positive is best," Mandy said.

"But Kylo Ren?" Rey asked.

"It kinda just happened, I stumbled into training once and he wasn't happy about it. If I'm going to be honest I hate being with him, but I don't want to make him mad," Mandy said.

"Mandy that's terrible," Rey said.

"It's alright," Mandy said, "I'll eventually kill him and take over the galaxy." She suddenly got a crazy look in her eyes.

"Excuse me please," Rey said, "I'm going to go check on my friends."

"Oh of course," Mandy said.

"Hey," Finn said as Rey approached the boys.

"Hey," Rey replied.

"Here," Kylo handed Rey a drink.

"Your girlfriend is crazy," Rey said, taking the cup.

"Thanks," said Kylo Ren.

Rey held the cup up to her nose.

"I haven't poisoned it," Kylo Ren said.

"I'm just checking," Rey said, taking a sip. It was awful whatever it was and it burned Rey's throat.

"Ok we'll be going then," Kylo Ren said motioning for Hux to follow.

Rey angrily took another mouthful of whatever was in her cup and regretted it immediately but swallowed anyway.
