Rey lay on the floor of her dorm room, she didn't know how long she'd been there nor did she really. Ben's answer to her heartbreaking question kept replaying in her head. She had a half empty bottle of tequila in one hand and a cigarette in the other. The ceiling was spinning but again she didn't really care.
"Is she okay?" Rey heard the muffled voice of Poe from somewhere in the room.
"I don't think so. Should we ask her what's wrong?" Finn asked.
"My boyfriend is an ass hole who cheated on me with his ex girlfriend," Rey said from the floor. She took a long drag from her cigarette and let her lungs fill with smoke.
"Are you planning on getting off the floor anytime soon, or you know at least open a window so our dorm doesn't smell like an ash-tray?" Poe asked.
Rey let the smoke go and watched as it created a small cloud and then disappeared. "Yeah no. I'm good here."
"Alright well ah were gonna go get some food, do you want anything?" Finn asked.
"Pizza. Oh and vodka. Thanks," Rey said.
"You got it," Poe said.
"Bye," Rey said, waving in her friend's general direction.
She heard the door closed and she took a large sip of tequila. She continued to stare at the ceiling, she closed her eyes but it didn't help the sick feeling rising in her stomach.
She sat up and tried to get to her feet as quickly as possible. The room spun making the urge to throw up greater. She stumbled to the bathroom and collapsed onto the floor.
She felt her way into a kneeling position and threw up.
She was shaking but managed to get self to the sink and rinse out her mouth.
She sunk back onto the floor and leaned against the wall. She started crying and her soft crying turned into incoherent uncontrollable sobbing.
It was dark out by the time Rey had pulled herself off the bathroom floor. The smell of fries and pizza hit her as she walked into her living room
"You look like shit," Poe said sitting down and putting the food on the table. They must have just gotten home.
"Thanks," Rey said. "I probably feel worse if that's even possible."
"Come. Sit," Finn said. "Eat something other than 100 proof and lung cancer."
"Fuck you," Rey said jokingly. She picked up a piece of pizza and the bottle of vodka. "I'll be in my room plotting Kylo Ren's death."
"Have fun," Poe said. "Although the cure to a hangover is not more alcohol."
"Fuck you kindly," Rey said as she unscrewed the cap of the bottle and took a sip.
She wandered into her and lay on her bed. She took another sip of vodka and reached for her phone.
She scrolled through her phone until she found Mandy's number. She would soon regret not deleting her number when she had the chance.
The phone rang twice before she heard Mandy's voice on the other end.
"Hello," Mandy said, cheerful as ever.
"Heeyy Mandy it's Rey. You know the girl whose boyfriend you fucked! Yeah he told me."
"Are you drunk?" Mandy asked.
"Why do you care? I could still put you in the hospital, again."
"Jesus woman get sober before you end up dead in a ditch," Mandy said before hanging up.
"Fuck!" Rey yelled before throwing her phone against the wall. "Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck!"
Finn opened the door just as Rey through a book at the wall.
"Watch it," Finn said.
"Shut up," Rey said, even though you could barely understand what she was saying.
