Kion slowly walked back towards pride rock, behind him the sun could barley be seen as it sunk down out of view turning the skies dark. He was scared, he kept looking at the sun until it completely vanished. He had this oh-shit look on his face as he arrived at the huge monument that is pride rock. He walked towards the entrance of the cave, he took a deep breath as he walked on in. He was immediately greeted by his farther, his face showing seriousness. "Oh, hi dad"

"Your home late, huh?" He said instantly as his son greeted him. His voice was serious and his tone was different, it was not the first time Simba used this tone. It was often used when someone was in trouble. He was the over protective type and had strict rules on his two cubs. "You should have finished patrol 4 hours ago, where have you been?" His voice turned deeper.

"Well, will you promise you won't get angry?" Kion said as he backed up his voice clearly showing fear. His farther didn't say anything and just put on a are-you-kidding face? "Ok then, I've met this lioness and she is the most fun and beautiful lioness I have ever met". He said, though this didn't sound bad to Simba. His face softened up. "It's um Vitani" Kion had finally admitted he had been hanging out with an Outland to his farther who is the King of the  Pridelands.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?" Simba shouted at the top of his lung. The load voice echoed throughout the cave waking everybody up. He swiftly turned around in disgust, growling as he did so. "SHE IS AN OUTLANDER AND WORSE OF ALL SHE IS A FOLLOWER OF SCAR!" He was just shouting as he paced back and forth. Kion crouched down in fear knowing he fucked up big time. "Don't tell me you are mates with this disgusting lioness" He said as he turned towards his crying son.

"N-no" he lied, he had to he was scared enough already. Nala has awoken from all the commotion and had been listening in on the heated confrontation.

"I can't believe my own son would betray me". He said disgusted.

"Simba that's enough! We can talk about it in the morning" Nala called out to her mate. He automatically calmed hearing his mates voice.

"Very well, you think long and hard what you have done".  He looked over to his son seeing the damage he caused to his son. Immediately guilt could be felt in both of them, though no more words were exchanged.

Kion left the cave and walked down the path embarrassed and guilty. The whole pride looked at him with some sort of negativity, hell, even his sister. His mother not so much. She always could forgive anybody especially her son and would always try to diffuse the conflict when there was some. He wiped the tears out his eyes and decided to sleep in the lair because of that negative atmosphere in the cave. He knew deep inside Vitani was not the bad type. She was not evil and definitely not a follower of scar. She had told Kion stories about how she had arguments with her mother because she and her brother, Kovu did not agree with her strategies or plans with taking back the pridelands but neither of them never said they didn't want to do it because they would be either killed or disowned. That's the monster she described her mother to be. Their brother Nuka, however was the opposite.  He always agreed with their mother because he was weak, to weak to stand up for himself and when he did he immediately backed down.

Kion remembers Vitani describing the fights she would have against Nuka and how he immediately lost. This made Kion chuckle as he was walking into the lair thinking about it. She was a joy and so funny. So it would make the decision he was about to make very difficult.

Her or his family?
