"Oh my god, how can he do that to you?" She asked the approaching lion. He had claw marks plastered down his face very close to the eye. Dried up blood was encrusted into his fur. As soon as he arrived next to his mate he let his body fall onto the ground as he grunts in pain.

"I'm as baffled as you, he must really hate you..... and me". He said his voice calm considering the state he was in.

"Are you ok? Do you need help? Does it hurt". Vitani started panicking and worried that he could be seriously hurt. This supprised Kion as Vitani very rarely panicked.

"Listen, calm down I'm a little light headed and it stings a bit but otherwise I'm fine" He said as he looked up towards her pain in his eyes both emotional and physical. Noticing how hurt he must be, she nuzzled him. "He will pay for what he has done!" He said growling and departing from the nuzzle. "We better get going because I doubt your mother would want to see you again and I know my father does not want to see me again but I'm telling you now, he is going to see me again and he is going to know how much of a shit person he is". Kion's face was full of disgust and anger, there was no doubt about it he despised his dad. They both started walking towards the backlands where they would both potentially find a new home to start their own pride away from their cruel families.

"K, I'm sorry you had to go through that, no one should have to have a father like that, I never actually met my farther. Don't know where he is and I don't care". She tried cheering him up but he still had a miserable face on him, and still grunting in pain now and then. She then tried again. "You should have seen the look on my mothers face, she thought I was loyal to her, and then I came in and said "Oi Oi mother I'm goin cause' I'm pregnant and I'm certainly not having you lot near my cub" Oh my god I never will forget the look on her face" she laughed which brought a smile to Kion's wounded face. "I said bye to Kovu though before I left and told him I meant no hard feeling to get up and leave him on his own. Hell, I feel so guilty wish He could come with us". Her face dropped sad.

"Did I ever tell you the encounter Kiara had with Kovu?" Kion said looking up at her face, a face he thought was so beautiful. Her face grew supprised.

"No way, so it is true. Kovu told me that he had and encounter with her too and he told me that she was the most prettiest lioness he had ever seen!" Kion stopped in his tracks as she stopped and turned to him. His face had a fat smirk on it.

"She said the exact same thing! She was obsessed with you brother". Both were smiling widely. "Do you recon-"

"They will fall in love? Nope, doubt it's gonna happen unless there is a miracle, I doubt my mother will ever let Kovu anywhere near the pridelands. Not until he tries and kills your dad". Kion thought for a moment.

"Do you think he will do it?" He says. "Because if he likes Kiara that means she will be safe and he could potentially fall for her".

"Nah, he don't have the guts. Physically he could do it, he has the strength because he got fed most of the food. Another reason I hate my mom. He's a big softie deep down. Nobody knows my brother more than I do". She shed a tear. "He was the only one that would be there for me until I met you. And you have been the best thing that has happened to me". Kion hugged her tightly.

"We will get through this, I miss my sister but we have to get away from there, we have a cub to raise". He said as they both let go of each other. They both stared in each other's eyes. Kion wiped the few tears of her face. They both continued to stare. "What is this a staring contest?" Kion said smirking.

"No your just so handsome". Her eyes then looked toward the gash below his right eye. "But we need to get that sorted". She said as she pointed towards it and Kion raised an brow.

"Wow, that's a bit rude". She chuckled slightly at Kion's frown.

"C'mon there's a lake over there you can wash your face in it". She said directing her head towards a surprisingly clean pool of water considering it was located in the outlands. "This place actually looks pretty familiar". She said with a focused look on her face.

"Of course, it's Jasiri's place!" Kion said realising where they were.

[Meanwhile at Pride Rock]

Simba grunted as he tried to get up. Lionesses littered the room that had been caught in the roar. The sound of tears flooded the cave. Both Nala and Kiara were having emotional breakdowns. "He's gone, isn't he?"  Kiara said looking up to her mothers upset face.

"Don't worry, every thing will be ok". Kiara put her face into her fur and weeped. Nala's face had pain and anger on it. She scanned the cave as she dried the tears in her eyes. She caught sight of Simba lying down clearly in pain. She frowned and started to walk towards him. "Stay here Kiara while I talk to your father". She nodded and lay down and put her face into her paws which were by now soaked. The relationship she had with her brother was so strong. She would always see what pain he had to deal with day in and day out. Although she was quite annoyed at him at first for hanging with Vitani, she now totally understands why he would. He had no one. Except her and she felt guilt because she was not always there for him. She wanted to find him but she couldn't on her own. She's still young and she hasn't had enough hunting practice.

Nala had reached Simba and looked down at him. "Do you realise what you have just done!" She angrily shouted as she crouched down into his face getting really close. "Simba!" He looked up at her, his eyelids half closed. He grunted in pain as he said

"Our own son just roared at me, can you believe it". Nala gasped in shock. All her life she trusted him now she noticed that he is selfish.

"Wow, I don't believe you! You want to know why he roared at you?" She shouted in disgust. Simba sat up and got eye level with her.

"Cause he's a fucking traitor, that's why!"

"No, ITS CAUSE YOUR A HORRIBLE FARTHER!" She butted into tears of pain and sadness. She had seen the way he treated Kion and yet she let him because she trusted her King she thought he knew how to parent him.

"No, he was the one who betrayed me and my trust when I gave him so many chances!". He said raising his voice slightly.

"You never had trust, all you ever trusted Him for was the guard. And I thought you would spend more time with me but NO" She started slowly shaking her head back and forth. "We're leaving. And maybe you would learn how to love your son just like you love your daughter. We will be back". She turned her head slowly as she trudged towards Kiara. She looked up at her depressed mother as she said "C'mon we're leaving for a bit".  She left the cave as her daughter followed". Kiara looked back at her dad one last time. Simba tried to call after them seeing his family leave, but he couldn't find the words and fell silent.
