The Christmas break that was waiting by many students finally comes. They were already busy buying a gifts, decorating their houses, some are planning for parties and deciding on what to cook for Christmas. But, some are just relaxing, enjoying their break.
<Jinhwan's POV>
I decided to visit the sibling today to hangout. So, I went first at my cousin's place to ask a company.
I was here at their living room, waiting for that cousin of mine who is still awkward with his best friend slash first love.
I finally saw him walking down the stairs, with his messy hair bed and his pajamas.
Why is he not yet ready?
"Yah, are you not going to go with me?" I asked annoyed. He already promised and now he is not yet ready. Wow. Just wow.
"I'm sorry hyung, but I don't feel like going out today" he reasoned but, I know that he really don't want to give me company because he doesn't want to see her.
"You don't feel like going or you don't want to see Kim Hayoon, your best friend slash first love" I raised my eyebrow on him letting him know that I know him very well even if he lies. "Junhoe it's already been a month and you guys are still so awkward. What really happened? I thought you guys will never change. I thought you will wait for her until she is ready" that caught him guard.
Told ya, it's about Hayoon.
"Hyung it's just... I can't stop myself from doing it" he messed his already messy hair and sat beside me.
"What exactly did you do?" I asked really curious. We've been guessing what happened to them to make them so awkward. They even didn't hangout anymore but if they do, we're always with them. They don't even have a Friday night sleepover. So, we're really curious.
"I... I kissed her"
"What?! Are you crazy?!" I exclaimed, he got surprised by my sudden outburst but I don't care. "Why did you do that? You really want to lost your friendship?"
"Hyung... It's not like it's our first kiss. She always kissed me when we were still a kid" I rolled my eyes on him feeling irritated.
"Let me rephrase your sentence. She always kissed you when you were still a kid. A kid" I said emphasizing the word kid. "Listen to me well Koo Junhoe. Do you really think she will be happy on what you did? Yes, she likes you but you don't have the right to do that... You guys are not a kid anymore. You guys are teen now, you should be mature. You should not do what you used to be when you were still a kid, you should know better because you are now a TEEN NOT A KID ANYMORE" I shouted at him.
"You-" I was cut off by my phone.
"What?!" I picked up the phone, not looking at the ID caller.
"Hyung... Are you mad at me? Did I do something?" The other line asked.
I calm a bit first before answering. "I'm sorry, I'm just thinking something" I said while looking at my cousin.
"It's okay hyung. By the way we're ready now. Where are you? Should we pick you up?"
Oh crap. I forgot we have to meet up.
"Ah... I can't come today. I'm sorry" I suddenly feel guilty for ditching them.
The other line turned silent which made me feel more guilty. "Is that so? It's okay hyung. I still have Hayoon with me. Bye, I love you" I can hear the disappointment and sadness in his voice.
"Thank you for understanding. I promise to make it up to you. Love you too" I said and hangup.
"Hyung, you don't need to do that"
"I still need to give you a lesson" he said and whined which makes me smile and ruffled his hair.
<Hanbin's POV>
"Is he near?" Hayoon asked as I put my phone down.
I slump myself on the couch and sighed.
"He said he can't come today" I said and started to get up making my way towards the door. "Why?" She asked while following me.
"No reason" I shrugged and put my arm on her shoulder. "So, today it's just us so..." "Sibling day!" We both said and went to the mall.
"Where do you want to go first?" I asked her. I didn't know that many people will come today, well it's Christmas break, what do you expect? Aish pabo.
"How about the arcade? Get me a bear" I looked at her and raised my eyebrow, telling something to her.
"Get me a bear when we play at the arcade later" Hayoon said to her best friend.
"Yeah, I'll make sure to get the bear you want" he replied and intertwined his fingers with her.
"Don't make me remember it" she said and gave me a glare.
"Okay let's go" I ruffled her hair and put my arms on her dragging her towards the arcade.
* 3 hours later
We have so much fun today. It's been a while ever since we go out like this, only me and my sister.
After so many activities that we did, we decided to eat first before continuing our day.
As I am ordering, I saw Jinhwan hyung with Junhoe at the corner of the cafe. I tapped my sister's shoulder and pointed at the two.
"It seems like they were also having fun. Let's go to them" I pulled her arms not giving her a chance to answer or rather complain.
As we are already near them, hyung noticed as and waved at us. I waved back at him and went to sat beside him leaving a no choice for Hayoon to sat beside Junhoe.
She awkwardly sat beside him not even giving a small glance at him.
"I already know why they were awkward" hyung whispered to me and looked at the two across us, "why?" I asked desperately, I really wanted to know the whole truth. I wanted to asked my sister but, I know I'm not on place to do so.
"I'll tell you later. Let's leave them here first" he said and excused us from the two.
