When the two older went outside, there's a long silence between the two.
"I-I need to go n-now" Hayoon breaks the silence and started to get up, walking to the entrance of the cafe. Junhoe was dumbfounded before deciding to chase Hayoon.
"Hayoon!" He chase her until they reached outside the mall.
"Hayoon" Junhoe back hugged her and buried his head on her neck. "Why? Why are you avoiding me?" He asked, sadness is visible on his voice.
Hayoon tried to let go out of his grip, but he was much more stronger then her so it was no use. "No reason. Now, let me go"
"I will not let you go. Please tell me what can I do for you to be not mad at me? Please tell me I'm willing to do everything for you" he said desperately and he loosen his grip around but still holding her.
"What can you do? Leave me alone, don't talk to me and most of all don't approach me anymore" Junhoe hold her hand and make her face-to-face with him.
"I will not do it. You told me that we're not going to change. What happened now?" He tried to hold his tears as he said those words.
"You can't do it? Then, let me go now. I'm so done with you. Don't annoy me and make me hate you forever"
"No, I'm begging you don't do this please. Hayoon, I love you. Please" they started to get everyone's attention when Junhoe kneeled down still holding her hands and his tears finally flow.
Hayoon finally get out of his grip and run away from him. She crossed the road not noticing the coming vehicle.
"Hayoon!"
Junhoe widened his eyes and try to save her but, it is now too late as the vehicle hit her. "No!"
He went to her and saw the nightmare that he don't want to see. There he saw his best friend, laying with her eyes closed, the glasses from the vehicle shattered around the road, bruises are everywhere on her body and her body was covered by her own blood. She was unconscious.
He sat down beside her, putting her head on his lap as he caress his hair and cry softly. "Hayoon open your eyes please, I'm sorry"
Soon the ambulance came and her body was sent at the nearest hospital.
"Hyung... hyung are you still at the mall? please come to the nearest hospital, H-Hayoon... she... she was sent here..." He sobbed as he was talking to Hanbin.
"What? What happened? Why she's there?" The other line said in panicked.
"She... she got hit by t-the car"
"Okay we'll go there in 5" Hanbin said and hangup.
* 1 hour later
Hayoon was still in the Emergency Room. It's been an hour since she was sent in the ER, but there's still no update from the doctor about her condition.
Her parents and brother arrived half an hour ago and they were so worried when they heard what happened to Hayoon.
"I'm sorry..." Junhoe suddenly said.
The others looked at him confuse. "If I didn't let go of her, she will not get hit by the car. It's all my fault"
Mrs. Kim went to him and hugged him. "It's not your fault dear, nor anyone. I think it's her fate, so don't blame yourself and stop crying. Hayoon doesn't want to see you like this" she tried to comfort him and patted his back.
"She hates me" he murmured.
"How can you say so? Hayoon will never hate you. She even take your side every time you and Hanbin fought when you were still a kid, remember?" She said to cheer him up.
He just stayed in silent, feeling the warm embrace of his best friend's mother.
After some minutes, the doctor already came out from the Emergency Room. They rushed toward her and asked about Hayoon's condition.
"Hayoon's condition is....."
