"Junhoe, wake up. You need to go home now, it's already late" someone shakes the sleeping boy gently.
He stirred in his sleep and looked at the person who woke him up. "Auntie..." He immediately sat up and rubbed his eyes as he saw his best friend's mother.
"You okay dear?" She asked worriedly and hugged him tight, comforting him.
"Hayoon woke up a while ago. She asked me who am I. She didn't remember me. She lost her memories of me" he stated and cried softly in her embrace.
"It's okay. Let's just help her to remember you" Junhoe shook his head, "the doctor said do not ask her about the person she doesn't remember, if we push her to remember me she might lost all of her memory"
Mrs. Kim feel so sorry towards him. He's like her own son.
"Then, what is your plan? We can't just let her not remember you forever. You are her best friend, she needs to remember you. You are part of her life ever since then, you are so important to her" she said.
"I'm going to audition at YG. I'll make sure to debut for her. I'll make her proud of me. That's the only thing I know for her to at least remember me a bit. But, if it's really doesn't work, I'll just make a new memory for her. For us" he said looking at her with teary eyes.
"You know what, if Hayoon only remembers you I'm sure she will be very proud of you and happy at the same time. Knowing you'll do anything for her" she said, giving him an assuring smile. "I really like you for my daughter" she added.
Junhoe looked at her confused, "ever since you were a kids, you always made sure that she was happy, safe and comfortable with her surroundings. It's never a surprised for me to know that she loves you. You were such a nice guy, both you and your cousin. And, I am very much grateful to have you guys on my children's side and chose to love you. I just hope that you will never get tired loving them. I want them to be happy and you guys are their happiness and I am contented with it" her tears already fell as she said those words.
<Hayoon's POV>
"I really like you for my daughter..." That's the first thing I heard as I woke up from my sleep.
I looked at my side, slightly opening my eyes so that they can't know I am awake and listening to them.
"...Ever since you were a kids, you always made sure that she was happy, safe and comfortable with her surroundings. It's never a surprised for me to know that she loves you. You were such a nice guy, both you and your cousin. And, I am very much grateful to have you guys on my children's side and chose to love you. I just hope that you will never get tired loving them. I want them to be happy and you guys are their happiness and I am contented with it" the woman, which happened to be my mother said and I can see tears are already falling on her cheeks.
I looked at the boy she was talking to, and saw the boy a while ago.
What is he doing here? Does mom know him?
"We will never get tired of loving them auntie..." The boy said and I saw my mom smiling at him and chuckled, "you're like your cousin calling me auntie or Mrs. Kim. Just call me omma, you two are like my sons" she said as she caress his hair.
I am so confuse. Why mom is she so kind to him? He is just a stranger and why mom let him call her mom? Aish...
I slowly open my eyes as I heard nothing from them anymore, only to see them hugging. "Mom..." I whispered.
Both of them looked at me and smile. "You're awake" they both said, mom hugged me while the boy just looking at us and me staring at him.
He noticed that I was staring at him so he cleared his throat, making mom looking at him. "I'll get going now mom. I'll just visit tomorrow" he said and picked his things ready to go.
"Wait..." I said making him stopped on his track and looked at me smiling. "...thank you for calming me a while ago, I know it was you. And, you don't need to come tomorrow, mom is already here" I added and I noticed that his smile started to fade as I said those, while I was just looking at him. I feel somehow guilty saying those words but, he really don't need to come here.
"Yah Hayoon..." Mom looked at me and glared at me. "Don't mind her you can come here tomorrow if you want" he gently smiled at us or mom? I don't care.
"It's okay mom, and I'm used to calming you so it was not a big deal"
"Yah! Why did you do that? He's your best friend" mom scolded me as that boy went out of the room.
I shrugged, "I don't know him mom" I said which cause her to sigh. "Once you gain your memory back, you'll regret doing that to him" she said and arranged the fruits that was on the table on my bed's side.
