"SOMEONE please tell y/n that 'barrybeetch' isn't any better than 'kermittheslut'."
"Anthony, LET ME BE ME." I shake him dramatically.

"Okay guys, calm down. We're going to be doing some heavy scenes today." Julia walks in, trying to contain the chaos that was us.

"y/n, Lily and Lili, you all have a serious scene together, so be reading your scripts and getting into character. We'll start in '20." She claps, walking out.

I plop into my designated seat, grabbing the script and flipping to the right page—

Margot storms off the stage after completely blowing her audition.

Evangeline gets up, following her; Miss Stevens right behind her.

They walk into the hall, looking around for any sign as to where she went:
The women's bathroom door swings shut.

Evan pushes the door, holding it open for Miss Stevens. She walks in, calling, "Margot?"
"I'm not here." A rasped voice calls back from a closed stall.

"I know. Can Evan and I talk to you anyway?"
A shaky breath is followed by, "I guess so.."

Miss Stevens carefully walks to the stall next to the one Margot is in, Evan takes the one on the other side.
They take a seat on the toilets: thinking of what to say to help Margot in this critical moment.

"I just want you to know that it's totally okay to be upset right now." Miss Stevens starts.
"That was humiliating." Margot cuts in.
"Yeah, it was, wasn't it?"
"Are you supposed to say that?"

"Would you rather I lied?"

A silence: "I guess not.."

"It was humiliating. And it sucks you worked so hard and forgot. But you know what else? It's gonna be okay." A dramatic pause, "Not today maybe, or.. or even tomorrow. But there will be a day when this is okay."

The sniffling had begun to stop, and Margot finally found her voice again.
"The worst part is: I knew I was gonna be terrible."

"Then why'd you do it?"

"I don't know.. I thought maybe I wasn't as bad as I thought, or something would click today. But I am just not a good actress." She chuckles softly.

"Well, what are you good at?"
"School. And organizing things."
"That's true. You organized all of this."

"And you got Billy to come." Evan chimes in.
"Well, that's great." Miss Stevens adds.

"He's so talented. It'll be really good for the school if he wins."
"What do you mean?"
"I think, maybe if he wins, the school might give some money back to the arts program and we could do a real play again.." she faults before continuing, "The school won't even play for this trip. This is our last chance."

"What do you mean the school wouldn't pay?"
"Yeah, what?" Evangeline questions her further.

"Um.." uncertainty in her voice, "Sam, Billy, and even Evan don't know this, but my parents paid for this trip."
"I didn't even know.."
"Will you—" she cuts herself off, "Just please don't tell them, both of you."

"Of course not."
"Scout's honor." Evan jokes, which thankfully lightens the mood and makes Margot giggle.

"Maybe that's one of your gifts, Margot. And if you're right, you'll be responsible for bringing the arts back to our school."

After a monumental pause, Margot finally opens her stall door, walking out and facing Miss Stevens and Evangeline.

She ruins the moment by asking, "Are your jeans touching the toilet seat?"
"Yes." Both Miss Stevens and Evan reply.
"Gross."
"I'm not gay." Miss Stevens blurts out.
"I can't believe he told you that." Margot scoffs.
Evan just laughs as they exit the bathroom.

"AND CUT! THAT'S A WRAP!" One of the camera guys calls out.

Lily, Lili and I immediately bolt for the refreshments laid out for us.
I go for the Powerade, chugging it.

"Dear god, that was intense." Lily says after gulping some water.
"We did so well!" Lili fist pumps, causing me to almost spew my mouthful of Powerade.

"Wow you guys, that was the best take yet!" Julia pats Lili and I's backs.
"Drink up, because we're going into the next scene in '5." She smiles almost evilly as she walks away, throwing her head back in laughter when she hears the three of us groan.

"Lili that was great!" Anthony jumps on her back, hugging her.
"We're here too." Lily says, making me grin.
"Yeah, whatever." He flips his hair back diva-like.

"I think what Tony is trying to say is: you and y/n did marvelous." Timothée smacks the back of Anthony's head, making him frown.
"Thank you, Timotay." I smirk, finishing up my Powerade.

"What'd you just call me?"
"I said, 'Thank you, Timotaaayyy'." I say in the most obnoxious tone I could muster up.

"That's it!"
He picks me up, throwing me over his shoulder and spinning around.
I shriek while laughing hysterically, yelling at him to put me down.

"Okay Chalamet, set her down, it's time to film again." Julia calls as she points to where she wants the cameramen to shoot from.

He sets me down reluctantly, trying to act annoyed.
"This isn't over, l/n."

I act annoyed back, folding my arms.
"Never, Chalamet."

"PLACES!" The cameraman calls out once again.
Timothée and Anthony walk back to the auditorium, Lili, Lily and I going back to where we just left off.

"You guys are cute." Lili nudges me with her elbow.
I laugh, rolling my eyes, "Yeah, okay."
