"WOOOOOO, FINALLY, THE ROAD TRIP!" Anthony whoops, causing the rest of us to follow in suit.
We had gotten done filming the 'school' scenes yesterday, and now it was time for the 'field trip'.

Julia comes up to the car, smiling at our excitement.
"Okay, so you're going to be filming most of this ride, but we'll let you know over the mic when we want scenes to be filmed, and when you can take breaks. Everyone got it?" We all nodded.
"Great! Let's get this show on the road people!"

As we pulled out of the parking lot, Lili passes me a half-eaten Snickers bar.
"Does this mean I only get to be half myself after I'm done eating it?"
She snorts at my dumb joke, making me laugh, which causes the rest of the cast to turn and look at us.

"y/n, if you make a joke, share it with the rest of the class." Lily grins.
"Yes, of course. Sorry, Miss Stevens."
The whole group laughs; Timothée turning around in his seat to look at me, which gives me the perfect view of his nose cutely wrinkling as he giggles.

I could already tell: this was going to be amazing.

"Okay, that was a good take. You guys are free to relax until we get to the hotel."
"Thanks, Jules." Lily sighed.

Don't get me wrong, this was so much fun; but acting in a car for hours is almost maddening.

"Who wants to play round-about?" I suggested; everyone in the car nodded in agreement.
"Wait, what's round-about?" Anthony asks as he shoves more cheddar popcorn in his mouth.

We all turn and look at him like he's crazy.
"You've never done round-about?" Lili reaches behind me to nudge his shoulder.
"It's where each of us get to play a song in an order, so it's fair game for all of us to hear something we like." I explain. Anthony 'oh's, understanding the premise.

"I brought the aux cord." Timothée raises his hand before reaching into his backpack and pulling the cord out, plugging it into the radio.

"As driver, I get to go first." Lily jokes, "I pick 'You're so Vain' by Carly Simon." I hoot, excited that we're starting off with a banger.
"I haven't heard that song."
"Me neither."
"Yeah, neither have I."

"YOU ARE ALL UNCULTURED." I pause between each word, clapping my hands.
"Thank you, somebody gets its!" Lily joins in.

Lily and I basically have a one-on-one concert, screaming the lyrics and acting like we were in a soppy music video.
As the last chorus came through, the rest tried to join in, even Anthony, who had finally stopped chomping down on popcorn.

"You're so vain
You probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, you're so vain
I'll bet you think this song is about you
Don't you?
Don't you?"

"Wow, that was kind of amazing." Lili giggles.
"Duh, we're not plebs." I push up my sunglasses and smirk, causing Anthony to cackle.
"Okay, it's Timothée's turn since he's shotgun." Lily punches his arm, and he fakes being hurt.

"Since we're going old-school, let's do.." He types in the song he's looking for, leaving us all in suspense.

"Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality.."

"YEEEEEESSS!" I screamed, the others going crazy as well.
And then the concert commenced. The dramatics, the acting, the loud awful singing: it was beautiful.

"Nothing really matters, anyone can see
Nothing really matters
Nothing really matters to me
Any way the wind blows."

Anthony pretended to hit the gong as the song came to an end, all of us cheering.

"Okay, okay, now there's serious pressure." Lili huffs, taking the phone from Tim and thinking hard about her song choice, before finally typing something in.
A tech-disco beat suddenly erupted through the speakers.

"After love, after love
After love, after love-"

Anthony goes berserk, doing Vogue hands as he whips his head side to side.
Lili and I join in, Lili doing the peace-sign eye move while I do fist pumps like an 80's workout video.
Timothée looks back at us and laughs, adding a side-to-side snap move to the mix.

"Do you believe in life after love?
I can feel something inside me say
I really don't think you're strong enough, no
Do you believe in life after love?
I can feel something inside me say
I really don't think you're strong enough, no."

We all tried to do our best Cher impression, but failed miserably.
"Damn, I gotta go after that?" I furrow my brows, taking the phone from Lili.
"No pressure, but if this is shit you're banned from the club forever." Timothée gives a shit-eating-grin.

I flip him off while trying not to smile, finally coming up with something worthy.
I tap my foot as the upbeat music starts.

"Desmond has a barrow in the market place
Molly is the singer in a band
Desmond says to Molly, "Girl, I like your face"
And Molly says this as she takes him by the hand,"

Lily reaches her hand back and gives me a high five, "You just became president of this club, kid."
We all cheerily sing the chorus, smiles on our faces. How can you not be happy when this song plays?

"And if you want some fun
Take Ob-la-di-bla-da!"

We all yell the ending line, hooting as the song ends.
"You were complaining about going after Lili, but I have to go after that?!" Anthony groans.
I pat his shoulder sympathetically, "It's okay, Tony, we can't all be as cool as moi."
He slaps my hand away, snatching the phone before quickly typing in something.

"It's Electric!
You can't see it
It's electric!
You gotta feel it
It's electric!
Ooh, it's shakin'
It's electric!"

"You are my da-ad! You're my dad, boogie woogie woogie!" I holler over the music, making everyone laugh.
We all try to do the 'Electric Slide' while piled in a car, so as you can imagine: it was nothing but chaos.

"Don't wanna lose it
It's electric
Boogie woogie, woogie
But you can't choose it
It's electric
Boogie woogie, woogie
But you know it's there,
Yeah here there everywhere."

I take my hand and tap Anthony's shoulders like I'm knighting him, "I dub thee, Anthony Quintal, Vice President of the club."
He pretends to cry, acting like he just won an Oscar.

"Well, that was certainly entertaining. We're almost to the hotel guys; keep up the good work." Julia laughs over the mic before clicking it off.

The car goes silent-
We all look at each other before bursting into a fit of laughter. I had to wipe my eyes, so did Timothée.
Lili was hunched over, holding her ribs.
Anthony kept slapping his knee. Lily had to hit the breaks a little, afraid she might crash the car.

In that moment, I realized:
I loved these guys.
