"SO, we'll read the parts major parts in-between your dialogue, and if you'll just read the highlighted parts, that'll be lovely." Joe smiles, leaning back in his chair.
We were currently in a small auditorium, the Russo brothers sitting before me, watching intently.
I still can't believe I'm here.

I had been flown to Atlanta that coming week, after I had gone back home from Simi Valley.
I missed the gang desperately; but we FaceTimed almost every night before bed.
Well, Timothée and I always did, anyways.

"Okay.." I scanned the highlighted sections on the first page quickly, trying to memorize to the best of my ability.
Once I felt comfortable, I threw the script onto the seat I was given, shuffling on my feet anxiously.

"And, action!" Anthony claps.

"You think you're the only one with a stowaway, Tony? MATCHES!" Cap' calls.
She flies into the scene, much more ethereally than Spider-Man.
"Matches?" Tony quirks his head.

"Don't hold back, okay?" Bucky whispers, giving the girl a reassuring nod.
She nods back, but still shows nervousness.

As the fight begins, 'Matches' reveals her powers: control of the elements.
The first one to try and take her on is Natasha.
Their brawl begins- Natasha barely dodging the fire punches 'Matches' was quickly throwing out.

"What's a kid like you doing here?"
"Fighting for what's right."
"You have no clue what this war's about, do you?"
"Actually-" she cuts herself off as she lifts Nat into the air, "Captain filled me in."

"Okay, okay, good so far. Flip to page 3." Anthony says. I do as told, rehearsing in my head before we started again.

She catches up with Spider-Man after his failed attempt to battle Steve, and their fight ensues. As they fight, Peter continues to try and make smalltalk.
"So, you're a teen like me? Do I know you?"
"No, I don't think you do, Web-Wonder."
"The name's actually Spider-MaaAA-" Peter is cut off as vines wrap around him, throwing him around like a rag doll.

"Will you please just shut up and fight me!" As she screams, the concrete around her cracks and crumbles, gathering the attention of the few around them.

The explosion causes the vines to let go of Pete, and he's thrown into said concrete so hard- it looks like a meteor landing.
His mask is lifted halfway across his face as he lays still, not seeming to be breathing.
'Matches' rushes over, dropping to her knees beside the boy.

"Peter, I-I'm so sorry, oh my god-" She sounds distraught, reaching to touch Peter's face.
"I wouldn't touch him if I were you, kiddo." Tony picks her up by her super-hero garb, tossing her to the side, "If I were you, I'd get the hell out of here. You'll be in a lot of trouble."
With that, she bolts off into the sky, but not without giving one last look at Peter.

When Peter awakes and tries to fight off Tony, mistaking him for one of the 'bad guys', he later asks, "I could've sworn I heard her say my name. Did you hear anything like that, Mr. Stark?"
Tony ponders for a second, deciding that lying was the best option, "No kid, nada. Now stay down, or I'll call Aunt May, understand?"

"That was great, y/n!" They both hop out of their seats, grins on their faces.
"I think we found our Frances Flores, Anthony."
"I think so, too, Joe. But you're forgetting one thing- we have to get Big Guy's approval."
I furrow my brows, not understanding.

"What do you think, Stan the Man?"
"I think she's perfect."
I turn around, eyes meeting none-other than Mr. Lee himself.

"I think I'm going to faint."

I exit the auditorium, and as soon as I hear the door close behind me, I go berserk.
I dance around, laughing, screaming, you name it.

I finally stop, putting my hands up to my face, not being able to control the tears.
This is all I've ever dreamed of and more.

I reach into my bag, pulling out the marked-up script I was given after I had signed a contract. Mostly all the lines besides for mine were blacked out, leaving me in utter suspense.
The only thing that gave me a hint was the title of one page that read, "Old Friends Meet as New".
That was the title of Peter and Frances's fight scene.

I shoved it back in my bag, twirling and flailing to my rental car, dancing like a lunatic.
The first thing I do is go and get (your favorite fast food) as a celebratory lunch.
Then I make my way to my hotel, going up to my room and flopping down onto the bed.

I grabbed my phone, FaceTiming the Miss Stevens group chat.
Lili and Timothée answered, meaning Anthony and Lily were either busy or asleep.

"Hey girl! Spill everything right now." Lili yells, jumping up and down.
"Yeah, we're dying here, l/n." Tim grins.
"Well, you see.." I try to put on my best disappointed face, making my voice sound sad.

"Oh shit, you didn't get the part?" Tim's face immediately contorts into worry; so does Lili's.
I pause, looking away from the camera before-
"I GOT THE PART!"

They both started going ballistic, cheering and whooping like you'd hear at a football game.
"YES, FUCK YES! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!" Lili shrieks.
"DUDE, I TOLD YOU YOU HAD NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!" Timmy laughs.

I started tearing up again, laughing with him.
"Yeah, I'm signed with Marvel now, can you fucking believe it?"
"Yes, we can." They both say.
"But you can't tell anyone, you have to promise you won't. Marvel is really strict about that stuff. They didn't even tell me who's playing Peter Parker."

"Okay, okay, pinky promise." Lili starts.
"Yeah, pinky promise. Timothée finishes.

"Good..," I sigh with relief, "I'm apart of Marvel!"
