"Touch me.."
Nope, i can't do it ,baby. - you chuckled quietly but sadly.

"How can it be"
Coronavirus.

"Believe me..." sang the pleading voice of your boyfriend , on Spotify

Social Distancing was necessary.

"The Sun Always Shines On T.V"
Darling, this is April, we are close to midnight summer and this is Tromsø.

Execpt, He was quarantined in an isolation ward in Oslo, a few miles away from the International Airport.

It has been almost a month since the entire world has been under lockdown due to a global health emergency.

You sighed, realizing how spacious your cottage was and very much empty. It was small and quiet. Quietness used to embrace you , now it tormented you. Reminding you of the necessary physical distance between you and Morten, who has returned back to Norway from the tour and had to be quarantined in Oslo with the rest of a-ha.

Travel restrictions have been implemented to reduce human interaction, contain the virus and to flatten the curve as much as possible.

Witnessing the economy collapse, health equipments running out, doctors working tirelessly, certain jobs (including yours) dwindling with uncertainty of the future, homeless people suffering and people hoarding stuff instead of buying wisely bothered you to the core.

You tried to be as strong as you can for the first 21 days but now, you were tired of being strong.

You wanted a physical touch of love but given the present circumstances, it was a bit too much to even ask for a hug from Morten.

As a-ha continued to play along , you continued working on your online art commissions , with a desire to distract yourself from overthinking. You later finished your night chores such as washing the dishes and moping the floor.

You were tired of repetition.

You just had enough of it.

You fell on to your bed, feeling utterly off and low on battery. You sniffed yourself, you smelt like a dishwashing bar and a floor disinfectant. Your hands became dry and rough. Your lips were dry too , lacking motivation to get better and healthier.

The olfactory receptors and other sensatons of your body only worsened your mood.

You had to remove your shirt and wear another one. You've been changing shirts everyday, since you did the chores yourself.

You fell on to your bed again. Looking towards the right, where Morten used to sleep next to you, made you whimper a bit. You missed him so much.

The emotions buried your deeply.

For the desire to somehow connect, you dialed his number.

"Hei, y/n"

His voice only made you feel a little worse than better because you really wished it was coming towards your naked ear with warm breaths and slight movement of his lips as he speaks. Not through a metal device.

"Hello"
You were barely audible.

"How are you? Are you doing okay?" He asked, with a voice filled with concern and love

"I'm okay, how are you?" You lied

"I'm... I don't know,dear.But you seemed tired"

"Mmmm no I'm just lying on the bed"

"Same here, I'm staring at the left side of my bed, that's where you would be sleeping next to me" he chuckled quietly

"I'm staring at the right side"
