14th Ward

Chapter 3: Hiro

        I completely blacked out after Chise had slugged me in the nose, I didn't know what the hell I was saying, let alone doing. It was as if I was watching a video on TV, I was embarrassing myself but I had also embarrassed her, and in the midst of her anger she knocked me out with a possibly broken nose. 

        It was as if I was floating in water, I couldn't hear anything but murmurs that were too vague to understand. If this was why humans and ghouls didn't become friends, I wish I had found out sooner. But I couldn't turn my back on Chise like that, not after all the good times we had. But that wasn't the point, the pink haired girl asked if she could question me. "Sure I'll answer some questions for you."

        She smiled and pulled me into one of the curtained rooms, "You know you're really cute,"

        I looked at her strangely, "Um, thanks. About those questions..."

        She grabbed my hand, "I'm Akura by the way."

        "Ah well It's nice to-"

       She straddled me on the sofa, her short leather skirt stretched to reveal a pair of black under wear. Her red halter top was short enough to show her flawless pale stomach, if I hadn't know she was a ghoul I would've guessed she was anarexic. "For a human you're surprisingly well built, can I make you my slave?"

        "You're what?!"

         Her Kagune erupted from her lower back and encircled us, "Just one prick from my needle and you'll be under my spell, you can't defy me, kill me, or harm me in any way. There's only two people that can remove this, me and my twin brother." I was officially scared, and certainly tired of being a human unable to defend myself.

        "Get off of him!" Chise shouted at Akura, who before standing pricked me with her needle-like tail which sent me into this dream-like state. Everything's been messed up, but everything was completely cut off when I was knocked unconcious, but now I'm scared of what will happen when I wake up. Will I truly be Akura's human pet? Or was she just saying that to scare the shit out of me? I hope she was just trying to scare me, because I'm screwed if she wasn't.

        "Wake up, come on sleepy head, wakey wakey!" It sounded like Chise, I could hear my heart flutter at the thought of her.

        "Cheese, is that you?" My eyes slowly opened to someone who wasn't Chise, "Akura."

        The pink haired succubus ghoul beamed at me, "Glad you remember my name, now it's time to awaken, slave."

        My body turned stiff as a board and I drifted back into the water filled place, "Now, we're going on a little road trip." My body followed Akura like a puppy, Why can't I control myself? I had climbed into a silver car with Akura, "Chaffuer, home." How did this lunatic even find out where I lived? The answer was simple, she must have followed the truck last night when Kiko had brought me home after Chise knocked me unconcious. 

        I wish I could just ask her where the hell we're going, I deserved at least that much, right? "We're almost there my pet, don't fret." She patted my head, if I could control my body at all right now I would've punched you right in the face! She stared straight ahead as a large white mansion loomed in front of us, "That's your new home, and your last." I whimpered to myself, it truly did suck being a human and all. At least ghouls had their Kagunes to use for protection, we were just like cows that ghouls could slaughter at any given time. 

        "Welcome home sister, I see you've brought tonights meal." So this was her brother? He didn't look like much with his white-pink hair and his violet eyes. "We'll pin him up in the arena for now, wait until those idiotic friends of his get the invitations. It'll be a feast fit for all ghoul-kind, except for those human loving freaks!" He punched the stone wall, leaving a large dent in the brick.
