The Wedding

Hi y'all,

I'm sorry this has taken forever. I've been busy with trying to get more physically active as I got Covid (thankfully a mild case) and for my endometriosis and further wellbeing. I want to be healthier in case I get the virus again after the antibodies wear off in three months. If you think it's a hoax, then I'm sorry I'm gonna say this but fuck you! Yes there are ways the media is lying, liberal and conservative, but science cannot be debated and this shouldn't be political. Wear a mask! Social distance or just stay home! Don't be a selfish, dumb ass! Yeah, I know wearing a mask can be hot and itchy, but it's a small sacrifice to make not to accidentally kill someone or put them through pain and suffering. My dad had a moderate case-- he went to the hospital twice and got diagnosed with pneumonia on top of it which he is still recovering from-- and his boss got a serious case-- he was in the hospital for four days, blood clots filled his lungs, and the doctors asked where he wanted his body disposed. By the grace of God he survived, but from the use of fifteen different drugs and Remdesevere. We followed every protocol we could despite my dad working and still got it. I know it might feel like you can't breathe wearing a mask, but also imagine not being able to breathe on a ventilator. Imagine that being an older or immunocompromised family member. Or even just imagine not being able to breathe because you're black and a police officer is crushing their knee into your neck or choking you, so that your last "breath" is "I can't breathe." and you die from suffocation. It's astounding to me the ways people will justify ignorance and selfishness without an ounce of perspective and use the quote from the disgusting Ben Shapiro, "Facts don't care about your feelings." when they justify their feelings over facts. Fuck the hypocrisy! Just be a kind human regardless of your political beliefs because human life matters.

Anyway, stepping off my soap box, just due to Covid, isolation, and life in general my mental health hasn't been great like I'm having more breakdowns with my anxiety and an acute development of depression from quarantine.. Both have been added to a usual normal case of writer's block. I should be back now and posting a bit more. This gives me some joy and something to do.

I also want to note that there is a word in here that may sound familiar and has an offensive sibling, however, it is not the same term. In music, you'll often see the abbreviation of rit. which is ritardando which means to slow down (usually for dramatic effect), I just wanted to make this clear for those who may not understand that I'm speaking with musical vocabulary and not derogatory slang. I do not condone the use of discriminative terms or language and do not use them in my writing-- only when the context demands it and is rare. I wished there was a different fancy musical term for this, but this is what we got right now. Anyway, this is part two of the wedding and the final reception chapter will come next. However, the story of Chris, Dana, and Luna is far from over as I have a special Covid/quarantine-themed story. I have some other stories underway, one Covid-related, another related to Gifted, and a slightly smutty story involving Cap's shield and cowl. I'd love to write a story about Steve, Andy Barber, or even Chris and something related to A Starting Point (I'm so proud of him!) or Lily James (because they may or may not be dating) like insight into their ice cream date or a Captain America/Cinderella Disney crossover. If you would like to request a Chris short story or imagine (I do fluff mainly but you can request smut about him or his characters or even stories characters from my previous installments in this collection like Bella (A Sweeter Life) or Guinevere and Ava (Breathe and a Chrismas Special) ) either from your own desires or inspired by what I just mentioned, please let me know through the comments or private message me. This is not only about me getting to write about Chris and characters, but to really engage with my readers and give them what they want.. Thank you all for reading!

Love,

Katarwyn
