Unsaid

I wanted to tell you,
I wanted to show you,
how much you mean to me.
So many things left to say,
how shall I say them now.

I miss your head resting,
on my shoulders.

Your smile that made,
my every day a good day.

I will miss those tight long hugs.

I will miss your love for rain,
which always brought a joy to your face,
seeing you happy, was all I ever wanted.

Who will laugh at,
my bad jokes now.
Who will be there,
by my side now.

Those long nights we spent,
together.
For now we are no more,
but all that is, it's just me.

We were inseparable,
they said.
But now I am all alone and,
you are gone.

Six feet under they bury you,
with all we ever were.
All that remains now are,
the things I left unsaid and,
the plans that remain as plans.

The memories of you is all I have now,
and this ring.
