I was taken to a bedroom and sat down on the bed. Carlos let in my uncle.
"I hope you like it here." He smirked. "Because you are going to be here until your dad shows up." He said.
"I like it. But how will my dad even know where to find us?" I asked.
"You are so much like him." He slapped me across the face and for the first time I realized how scared I really am. "Always trying to be the tough guy. He will know. No more questions." He turned around. "Now get comfortable. If I hear anything from Carlos you won't be in such a comfortable room." I curled up on the bed. "That's what I like to see." He crossed his arms and left.
"Get to bed." Carlos ordered and started setting out a blanket.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"I'm making a spot to sleep, unless you want to share the bed." He suggested. I blushed at the thought.
"No, sleep on the couch." I sighed. He left the room.
I quickly put on the pyjamas that my uncle had sent up. They were soft and warm, like my mom's hugs. Carlos returned in his own pyjamas, only just the pants. He was well toned and I realized how dark his skin was. He caught me starring at him and I blushed. He reminded me of one of my friends back home. I shook the bad thought from my head and climbed in bed. Carlos turned out the light and I heard him moving around before he started snoring. I started crying before fallling asleep.

I woke up the next morning to a pillow hitting my face.
"Arthur you twerp." I sat up and realized I was still in the hotel room. I sighed and looked up and Carlos, who was back in a suit. I flopped back down on the bed.
"Hungry?" He asked.
"I want waffles with extra suryup." I moaned. He cuckled and left.
I stayed in bed and waited for my food. Instead of crying I turned on the tv and watched cartoons like my brother always makes me do in the mornings.
"Here you go princess, waffles in bed." Carlos handed me a plate and sat down on the edge of the bed. "Pokemon? Really?" He looked at me like I was crazy.
"It's my brother's favorite." I shurgged.
"Your eye looks bad." He leaned in and observed my cheek. I pulled away and continued watching tv and eating. "Maybe we could get a Christmas tree today." He suggested.
"I'm not into Christmas and I'm sure uncle crazy wouldn't be too happy about it." I shurgged. "Thanks for the offer."

"Rise and shine! Only four days untill Christmas and I need help decorating." Carlos' voice echoed through the room.
"I don't want to." I threw a pillow at him.
"Get up!" He pulled on my blanket and I fell to the floor.
"You butthole!" I got up and chased him through the sweet.
I stopped dead when I heard someone clear their throat. Carlos and I looked at the door to see my uncle.
"Carlos, you are needed down stairs. I'll send someone new to take care of Kat." He said calmly which was even scarier than when he is mad.
I sat down on the couch and waited for the new guy.
After a few minutes I got bored and tried the elevator, but noticed I need a key card. I groaned and headed to check out the room.
There was blank envelopes and some paper on the desk in my bedroom. I started thinking about my family and Christmas. I missed my friends and family. I even kind of missed Christmas traditions. What is my mom thinking? Does she miss me? Is she scared for me? Will my dad save me?
