He walked away from our table, a man with no fear but with class. Ajax's words were little but meaningful, he was hurt but didn't show it. He wanted me to be safe by approaching this situation strategically without getting myself caught. I wondered what was going through Rosalià's head with all this happening but I had to forget about her and lay low out of sight. I sat there underneath the gazebo gazing out into the open wondering how I'd approach this, I thought to myself maybe it'd be best if I had some quiet time back at my apartment.
Meanwhile as Julien headed back to his apartment, Rosalià had finished her work at the harbour and was preparing to leave the coast. "So I've got my bags ready and I'm ready to head out." Rosalià said speaking to Tangeni, "Okay let me take your bags to the car. You'll find me there." he replied. "Aww since when are you such a gentleman?" Rosalià asked folding her arms, "Well it's just a small gesture to say thank you for the great week I've spent with you. Now let's go, unfortunately this flight won't wait for a gorgeous lady like you especially with the traffic from here to Walvis." Tangeni replied taking a glance at his wrist watch "Okay fine, let me just double check if I didn't leave anything." Rosalià said going back into the house, Tangeni then packed her bags in the car and had the car running, a moment later Rosalià entered into the car confirming that she had everything and they drove off to the airport.
The ride was silent to the airport besides the music playing in the background. Rosalià had developed a feeling of resentment towards Tangeni on the way to the airport. Especially knowing very well that she was flying back to Windhoek where she would meet Julien once again. Rosalià had just remembered him as they arrived at the Walvis Bay International Airport, she texted him as Tangeni drove towards the drop off zone, "Hi Julien! I'll be landing in Windhoek in about 2 hours, would you please pick me up and we could catch up later? ;)". She put her phone away as she jumped out of the car to fetch her bags.
Tangeni removed her bags from the trunk putting them to the side, once he finished he closed the trunk and walked over to Rosalià to hold both of her hands. "You have given me such a wonderful time on my break from work and every time you leave, it has me craving more of your presence once again. I've seen a few job openings in Windhoek and I mean I might as well come stay with you in the city and begin a special relationship with you as my lady, just you and I with nobody else." Tangeni replied smirking at Rosalià. Her smile faded away the moment Tangeni's words sunk into her head, she didn't seem too keen on his proposal. Rosalià then let go of his hands and held her face in grief.
"Oh boy, I hope you haven't fallen in love Tangeni because we can't do this anymore okay? I'm seeing someone else and for once I think I could actually settle down with him and respect what we have going on for each other. He treats me well and we have a lot in common. I'm sorry Tangeni but what we have, I'm sorry I mean what we've had cannot continue like this because I'm getting older and I think it's time I start taking responsibility in the more activities I partake in. It's been fun Tangeni but I hope you understand that we're going into our separate ways.". Rosalià's words went right through him, stabbing his heart right there ripping it apart, why would she do this to him especially at a time like this? A time when she was leaving, the moments which Tangeni never looked forward to whenever she left. Well, now it was his worst of all time.
Was Rosalià in mixed feelings because she was about to see Julien or was she telling the truth? "Who's this guy Rosalià? I mean i've loved you and taken well care of you every time you came since New Years. Why don't you give me a chance over that useless dog?" Tangeni questioned her, "I don't have time to catch feelings Tangeni, get over it because I've got a flight to catch. Now would you excuse me?" Rosalià scoffed as she replied to him turning away from him. Tangeni grabbed her arm falling onto his knees, "Rosalià, please don't do this to me. I may not be the man of your dreams but I promise to treat you right and share my world with you, just let me have one more chance." Tangeni pleaded with her looking straight into her eyes.
