It was quiet around my place and was not used to being alone. I had gotten so used to Rosalià's presence and now that she was gone, I missed having her presence around me. I was a loner and picky person; I really did not have much friends and I was used to that but right there and then it was a different type of loneliness.

This time it was like being all alone at night in a cold cemetery with nobody around but graves outnumbering you. Every little thing that you cared for and loved had died or disappeared into thin air giving a true definition of solidarity.

When you are alone your brain can really become reckless in how ambitious it explores itself and that is through the thoughts that roam around your head. It can be dangerous yet so productive, it all just depends on your state of mind and as for me I was at neutral point of accessing my current situation.

My situation was that I had a brother out there wondering whether he was dead or alive and at the same time my mother was practically lying on her death bed. They were bad thoughts but it was the truth, one thing I have learned in my life was that no matter what the situation the truth would always set you free but only at the price of pain or dismay. For dishonesty it was a way of evading trouble but at the expense of landing into more trouble if to be caught so either way you had nothing to lose at whatever choice it would be. At the end of the day our lives are at a constant change from the choices and habits we enact daily thus resulting our identity of tomorrow.

To make sure you secure where you want to be in the future you have to control what you do today, to build a repertoire of diligence that you will never seek away from and that's what I had to do right there. To stay positive by moving on from the past into newer pastures because that is what life would want from me, the brighter my thoughts were, the brighter my life and vice versa.

Thinking deeply about all these made me feel like something major was approaching and I was preparing myself for it. I could not tell what exactly it was, but it was going to provide a plot twist to my life and whatever the feeling was, it was not great. I guessed it was time to expect the unexpected.

Meanwhile as Julien sulked in his thoughts, a few hours had passed, it was time to attend to the big meeting at the Andrews Mansion. Tangeni and Sandra were rested upon the bed tugged beside each other in the warmth of their own. "Babe?" Sandra spoke out, "Yes?" he replied in his deep-toned voice, "Don't you have a meeting to get to?" she asked, "I'm about to get ready, I just want to enjoy the last minutes I have with you right here right now." said Tangeni as he leaned in closer kissing her forehead.

"You know, you've shown me that love shouldn't be felt after certain periods of time as proclaimed by people. I love you Sandra and I mean it so much, fuck what people say about our love story because if it means that I should marry you this very moment then so be it baby. I love what I have seen in you, your imperfections and flaws are what make you stand out, you are mine and I am yours for as long as we live.", she starred into his eyes while he spoke, they went right through her, she could feel what he meant.

"Babes are you saying this because of how much fun we've just had, or you really mean what you're saying?" she asked, "I mean look at yourself Sandra, you're not just beautiful on the inside but on the outside too. I admire not just that, but your body is goals and judging by the way you ride it you are guilty of a speeding ticket." he teased pulling a smug grin on his face.

"Este this guy! What runs around your mind?" Sandra questioned as she laughed at his antic behaviour, "What? I am just being honest my dear. Anyways, I would love to continue bullying you, but I've got to go now.". He pecked her lips one more time and climbed out of bed heading to the shower. She smiled at him as his back was turned while he walked over to the bathroom.

Sandra was occupied on her phone scrolling through Instagram when she noticed a blinking light from Tangeni's phone across her placed on the bed. It was quite eye catching and distracting, the constant blinking lights built an urge within her to find out what exactly it was that his phone was constantly blinking.

At last curiosity was about to kill the cat when she could not resist the urge to check his phone. She unlocked it and to her surprise it was a voicemail from Rosalià about an hour ago. Sandra looked to the bathroom and back to the phone contemplating in whether to play the voicemail or not, nonetheless, she dialled 12300 to gain access to his voicemail and played it.
"Hey, I just arrived in Walvis and I'm on my way home. I am just calling you back to find out what was so urgent you wanted to talk to me about. I know it has been a while since we spoke, I still think of you time to time, but I thought about the way I acted when we last met. I just want to say I am sorry for doing that to you, you did not deserve that because all you have done was to treat me right. Yeah so, anyways we can get back to what you wanted to tell me after the meeting tonight and you can also brief me on how business was this week, see you soon." said Rosalià followed by the click ending the voicemail.

Sandra put back the phone down and carried on scrolling through Instagram wondering off into her own thoughts. A short lesson she learned whereby if you didn't want to be disappointed in your relationship, you should never go through your partner's phone. A couple of minutes later Tangeni came out of the shower and prepared himself for the meeting, Sandra did not think of saying anything to him but rather kept quiet of her discovery.

"Alright Babe don't stay up okay? I don't know how long the meeting is going to take." Said Tangeni before grabbing his suitcase besides the bed and phone placed on his pedestal. "All the best. But wait babe, where's Denver at a time like this?" asked Sandra as Tangeni walked over to kiss her forehead before pausing to walk out. "He had a fall out with Elizabeth, so he flew to Durban to clear out his head and what not. I don't know when he'll return, but I doubt its anytime soon."

She nodded as she looked away from him and off, he went. He entered his car and began his trip to the Andrews mansion. During his trip to Langstrand, he wondered if Rosalià would ever get back to him so he could unfold Natalia's diabolical plans and with Sandra as a backup, she would definitely watch his back and take action against her before anything would occur.

After a fifteen-minute-long drive, Tangeni entered Langstrand taking his time to reach the Andrews mansion until he arrived there to see an unfortunate surprise awaiting him. Blinding blue lights flashing all over the premises by then he knew it was too late to change anything. "Shit, I have to call Felix.".

A few hours earlier...

Her blood was boiling hot like the furious bulls of Spain, what decision was right to carry without messing up the future? To sacrifice a so called loved one or to snitch out an unforgiving thug who was your accomplice in your wrong doings? Time was about to finish digging her grave as Elizabeth was stuck amongst two conflicted decisions.

By that time Uncle Ben, Chris and Martha had arrived home from the airport. "Home sweet home everybody, let's all get some rest and address the meeting in style and brilliance." said Ben as he walked into the mansion, "Great to see that our moods are uplifted isn't that right honey?" asked Chris as he looked to Martha, she put on a fake smile and walked away to the staircase, "That's why I love you baby." Chris said loudly to her back as she raised her middle finger in the air as her response.

"I love the way your relationship runs, it's never boring. You both have opposite personalities, you're more closed off while she's an outspoken person, I don't have the energy to express myself but just know that opposites attract and that's you two." Ben said as he walked over to the bar followed by Chris. "What do you know about relationships, when you're currently going through a divorce?" Asked Chris as Ben opened a decanter of scotch whisky, Johnnie Walker.

"You know what brother? I think it is time I tell something I have been keeping away from everyone for a very long time. I know you will not tell anyone and that is why I have trusted you with so many things in my life. I just want to say that I am bisexual or gay and I have been scarred of judgement by anyone especially now that we are running this agency you see? It is because of my sexuality that I am going through this divorce and have gone through so many unsuccessful relationships. I've just been putting on a front because I couldn't bear to face the judgement, I hope you understand and respect me for who I truly am now to you."  He said emotionally as he sipped onto his glass of whiskey.

Chris didn't say a word to him as he walked over to him slowly, "You know, thanks for telling me this but I don't support homosexuality, I find it wrong and unlawful. I'm sorry brother but what you have just said was just so random, tell me your joking." Chris replied, "It's not a fucking joke Chris, I meant what I said, and it hurts me to hear right now that you aren't supporting me." Ben said blazing at him.

"Look man, I'm being honest here and if you can't accept the truth that's not my problem." Chris replied, "You know what Chris? Let us let it go and forget we ever had this conversation because clearly you're not up for it and I regret ever opening up to you." he said as he finished his glass and walked away to the back yard as he undressed his suit, unbuttoned the top of his shirt to go bask in the sun.

Chris was not bothered by what had just happened as he kept satisfying himself to his fine scotch whiskey. Elizabeth was by the base of the staircase the time their incident unfolded, she walked over to confront her father, "Dad, was that really necessary?" she questioned. "For how long you have been there?" Chris asked. "Long enough and you need to apologise to Uncle Ben." Elizabeth commanded.

"I'm not going to apologise for being honest sweety and by the way it's none of your business." Chris replied, "It may be none of my business but at least you need to consider his feelings because his human and you're human too." she protested, "Are you done sweetheart? If you want another car just send me your configuration pdf and I'll have it delivered for you." he said distractingly.

"Dad my point is that imagine you were born into a world where being straight was as wrong as homo and bisexuality is proclaimed to be today. How would you feel knowing that if you were attracted to mom or women in general would be wrong?" Elizabeth questioned leaving Chris in silence, "Exactly, you wouldn't like it, either right? Now that's how Uncle Ben feels, you need to apologise to your brother because if you both do not have a good relationship, this union will not go anywhere.".

The words of his daughter sunk right into his head neither was it perplexed. "I hope what I said did not go in vain dad, stop living in a naïve world full of negativity, it's not good for you and neither for us. Please just go forgive Uncle Ben, argh, I mean go and apologise to him. He would really appreciate it and both of you could put this behind your backs and enter the meeting with clear minds okay? I love you dad." Elizabeth said before side hugging Chris as she walked over to the fridge to grab a bottle of mineral water and walked back upstairs to her room.

He was left frowning at his thoughts seated by the bar finding it hard to accept Ben's situation, for ages he sat there intoxicating himself in tune to the volume of alcohol consumed as time passed. "Okay I can do this, it's simple as giving out information right? I can ace this Natalia, don't let yourself down." said Elizabeth.

"So, there's no going back now, it's time for me to secure my future." She said as she walked up to her bedroom door to lock them. Once they were locked, she walked back to her bed and dialled the number as it rang the operator behind the call answered, "Hello?", "Hi, I'd like to give a tip off to the hit and run which happened recently on the sixth of June on 77 Independence Avenue." Said Elizabeth, "Alright ma'am, what can you provide for us?", "The suspect I identified over there was Rosalià Andrews, her address is at Trift Towers room 50. She's currently fleeing Windhoek to the coast, I'd recommend you do it now before you lose her." Elizabeth suggested.

"Miss, I'd like to know how sure are you that this is the perpetrator, and do you have any relations to the suspect?" asked the operator, "No, I do not have any relations to her anymore. I am sure because I was with my boyfriend when she did it, my boyfriend's name is Julien." Elizabeth replied but unfortunately was disrupted by a knock on the door. "Oh shit." She shrieked in panic as she cut the call on the operator, "I'm coming, just hold on." she yelled as she climbed out of bed and walked over to her door.

"Who is it?" she asked, "Rosalià, I just arrived from the airport and I thought I could come say hi on the way to my room." she said as Elizabeth opened the door to see her. "Oh, how was your flight?" she asked, "It was fine really, you know how Air Namibia is. Can I come in?" Rosalià asked, "Uhm, but I'm kind of a bit busy with something." she replied. "Oh, c'mon is there anything that you will ever say yes to Natalia? It's just a few minutes, I'm not going to bother you any longer." said Rosalià as she entered her room walking past her in between the door.

"You know I always liked spending time with you here in this room because you never liked going outside to play with the kids outside on the streets, why did you always stay though?" she asked as she walked to seat on the bed, "That's because I don't belong to the streets, maybe you are especially with your shit boyfriend." Elizabeth replied as she approached the bed too.

"Stop being jealous just because the two of you didn't work out it doesn't mean it shouldn't work out for me. We are now at ease from the mess you created and that is not what I came here to talk about because I have let it go. I want to ask you, why have you been causing us so much trouble? You know I thought about it on the plane and wondered what exactly your motive was because I do not understand. You have everything and could have anything you ever wanted, what's missing that Chris can't provide?" Rosalià questioned.

"I don't want to talk about." Said Elizabeth as she walked to the window frame facing the ocean, "Look I'm not angry, I just want to understand you rather than judge you, please be honest with me." Rosalià pleaded as she walked over to her from the bed. "Do you really want to know?" She questioned, "I want to understand you better, we shouldn't let a boy come in between our bond regardless of whatever we both did. We shouldn't hold grudges, I heard the news about your university enrolment and all I can say is if we are to improve this family's legacy, we might as well work together no matter what." Rosalià said putting her arms over her shoulder. Elizabeth was stunned to hear this, to hear that there is no bad blood between them as she felt Rosalià indirectly forgive her.

"Are you being serious right now? Tell me you are Rosalià." Elizabeth asked once again, "I've never been this serious before, so tell me what's wrong?". Tears filled up her eyes as she took in a deep breath before answering her, "You know, I'm so happy that our family has been blessed by all the hard work we've done but I'm still not happy. I'm not happy because I never received the much attention from my mum nor my dad because it was always work that would have them occupied and even when they were free, they'd spend it together away at an exotic island or something. I practically do not know both of them well enough but as for you, at least Uncle Ben takes you on holiday vacations. I feel so alone and sometimes my parents would give me money to make up for the lost time, it was good while it lasted but later turned bittersweet, I would be hyped up with the amount of money they gave me but once I started spending it I enjoyed it alone or with friends who I don't consider to be anymore because they were just sucking off of me." She explained, "You know its rough out here, I think that's why I decided to spend my festivities working while you guys were here.

And that is when I met your shit boyfriend, it was fun while it lasted but not all good things last you know.". "Why did you guys break-up?" Rosalià asked, "I wasn't feeling it because I think my Dad killed his father or something which guilt tripped me so I decided to run behind the dunes where it was dark and climbed back up a couple of hundred metres away from them and joined the parties by the beach. I got drunk and dialled a cab to take me back home." Elizabeth said, "You're so irrational really and you're wrong about your dad because Felix was also there, what makes you so sure that its him?" Rosalià questioned.

Elizabeth's eyes widened in surprise, "You know you actually have a point, oh shit, I think he has the impression that my dad killed him. What do I do?", "Apologise Natalia." Rosalià said without any hesitance, "And sweetheart, you need to speak to your parents and explain to them that their time is more valuable than the money they give you. The same words you told me are the words you should tell her, okay?" Rosalià said pulling Elizabeth into a tight hug. "Okay enough, you're being too much lovey dovey." She complained, "I won't stop because I miss being your age, it was fun." Rosalià replied.

"That was two years ago, stop flexing child." Elizabeth teased as they laughed together until there was a knock on the door followed by Martha who entered the room. "Ahh great you're here, welcome home honey, come give me a hug. I've missed you so much." Said Martha happily as she welcomed Rosalià into her arms, "I missed you too aunty." She replied, "Come here my dear, don't you want to join our hug?" Martha asked as Elizabeth smiled to go join them forming a group hug.

"I love you girls so much that now you're going to help me cook." Martha said as the girls burst into laughter, "I knew you were not this happy without a reason, are we going to cook now?" Elizabeth asked as they let go of one another, "Yes let us go the oven is waiting for us. Rosalià you go and change into something more comfortable, so we start, we'll wait for you downstairs." Martha said as they walked towards the door.

Elizabeth remained in her room sat upon her bed thinking about how bad she messed up, she then picked up her phone and dialled the private investigator. "This number does not exist on MTC's network, please redial carefully." Said the automated voice, "Okay everything's going to be alright. The lady did not take me seriously, so I do not think she will carry it out and besides, I did not give valuable information to it right? Everything's going to be alright." Elizabeth said to herself trying to calm her nerves.

She threw her phone on the bed and walked out the room, suddenly her phone buzzed receiving a call from an unknown number. It kept vibrating for a couple of minutes until it stopped for a while followed by a message. "What have you done?! You were supposed to wait until she left back to Windhoek. Good luck with your losses.".

It was a joyful moment for them in the kitchen as they day turned into dusk watching the Sun set behind the ocean to rise the next day as the east turned into darkness. "You see? Three brains are better than one. Now we have a delicious lasagne dinner to eat before the meeting and by the way have you heard from your idiot friend? He missed his flight to Cape Town. It was useless even if he showed up the next day because we were all supposed to attend the meeting with all our new clients." Martha complained, "He tried calling me when I was on the plane, but I replied once I landed and since then I haven't heard from him." Rosalià replied.

"Throughout the week we had individual meetings with other departments but he only had one job and that was to catch the damn flight and sit in a five hour meeting then he would've flown back but anyways it doesn't matter because we sorted it out." Martha scoffed annoyedly, "Sweetheart please go call your father, dinner is ready." she asked Elizabeth, "Okay, I'll go wake up Uncle Ben too." said Elizabeth.

"Oh yes and him too." Martha said rolling her eyes, Elizabeth walked up the staircase to Uncle Ben's room, she knocked on the door, "Uncle Ben? Food is ready.", "Alright I'll be there in a minute." Ben replied as Elizabeth carried on walking down the hallway to her parents' room. She knocked on the door before saying, "Dad, food is ready. Mum made your favourite.", "Thank you honey." said Chris as she walked back to her room.

She walked to her bed where she picked up her phone to her horror, she received five missed calls and read the message from the unknown number. Within a few seconds in the corner of her eyes she noticed flashing lights outside, it was the police. "Oh no, not now, no!" she cried out as she raced out of her room then down the stairs to see the men in uniform walking into the house.

"Good evening officers, is there a problem?" Martha greeted respectfully, "Good evening, my name is Sergeant Dudley Simasiku and we are here to arrest Rosalià Andrews on the counts of human trafficking and premeditated murder, you have the right to remain silent." He said as the police officers walked over to Martha and Rosalià.

"Hold on I'm sorry sir but she has done no crime against anything, we do not know the people you've mentioned." Martha protested as she stood in the path of the officers, "Miss please do not obstruct justice and let us do our jobs." said the Sergeant, "No, you have no right to take her without any evidence because clearly you haven't presented any." Martha yelled once again.

"We received a tip off from the public who identified Rosalià at the hit and run crime scene. We've been informed about her whereabouts and tracked her down to this very address so please let us do our jobs miss." He explained as the officers shoved Martha away, "No, I've done nothing wrong. Don't you dare lay your hands on me or I'll sue you!" Rosalià yelled in defence.

"What the hell is going on here." Ben yelled in confusion as he stepped down from the staircase followed by Chris. "They want to arrest me, please do something." Rosalià responded to Uncle Ben, "Good evening Officer, do you have an arrest warrant?", Chris asked as they approached them. "Good evening sir, yes we do on Rosalià Andrews on account of human trafficking and premeditated murder." Said the sergeant, "And who may these people be exactly?" asked Ben.

"The premeditated murder of Blake Anderson and human trafficking of Rafael Williams." He replied as their faces frowned into confusion facing Rosalià. All eyes were on her as Elizabeth stood there in misery stunned by the scenes unfolding before her, Rosalià herself did not know what to say as the officers slowly approached her. "It's okay, let them do what they were instructed to do. We will follow them to the police station. Honey go get ready we go." Chris said as the officer handcuffed Rosalià, "Are you seriously going to allow this Chris?!" Martha argued, "Honey they have an arrest warrant which permits them to do what they're doing now. We will go to the police station where we will receive answers okay?" explained Chris looking at Martha then Rosalià, "We're going to follow you to the police station, please do not retaliate to the officers okay?" Chris said to Rosalià as he walked to hug her followed by Martha with tears in her eyes and Uncle Ben then by Elizabeth who kissed her on the cheek before saying "Everything's going to be alright.".

Rosalià kept quiet as she was escorted to the police vehicle, "Thank you for your cooperation sir, enjoy your evening." said the sergeant as Ben replied, "How the fuck are we supposed to enjoy our evening when you've mistakenly taken her for someone else you bastard!" Ben insulted in anger.

The family followed the officers to the police vehicle outside where Rosalia was placed, the sound of the closing door sounded like the beginning of imprisonment to the ultimate betrayal like the story of Jesus's disciples, Judas Iscariot. That would be the last time to ever hug Rosalià as guilt rained upon her soul.

Tangeni arrived at the Andrews mansion as the police officers entered, their vehicles before driving off. "They're headed to the Tutaleni police station, everyone should go dress warmly we leave in five minutes." Said Chris as Tangeni climbed out of his car quickly, "And now? What were the police officers doing here?", "They took Rosalià to the police station on suspected murder and kidnapping to Blake and someone name Raymond for kidnapping." Ben replied, "We don't have all night, can we go people please." Martha commanded followed by everyone walking back into the house.

With the attention of the police on the Andrews family, anything could happen not just the inspection of Rosalià but the discovery of the real income to the Andrews Agency. It was a time of now or never to make sure Rosalià does not land in prison.
