Spiderman Far From Home has happened.

........Onwards.......

Monday morning rolled around and Percy was a wreck. He was a nervous mess.

"You'll be fine, Seaweed Brain." Annabeth reassured him as they pulled up to the meeting spot. "Marine knowledge is in your blood, literally."

"But what if I do something dumb?" Percy whined.

"You won't. Plus, I'll be there too. Granted, I'm supposedly there to fight."

"This is weird. The roles are reversed! You're the smart one!"

Annabeth shook her head.

"Seaweed Brain, you're so dense. You are amazing. Your instincts are always on point. Your knowledge on marine life is rivaled only by Poseidon." Annabeth said, leaning over and pecking him on the cheek.

A smile tugged on Percy's cheeks.

"You're amazing."

"I know." Annabeth replied with a wink. "So, you really think pretending not to know each other is the right idea?"

"Of course, it was your idea!" Percy replied. "We need to distance the demigod world if we're going to work here."

Annabeth turned in her seat and pulled him to a deep kiss. Percy returned it with the same passion.

"See you later, Seaweed Brain." Annabeth said with a smile as she got out of the car.

Percy stared at her retreating figure before pulling away. He found a place to park and continued to the meet up spot, separately from Annabeth. He felt uneasy but nevertheless, he continued on, scanning his surroundings for the contact. It was not hard to spot them. Percy approached them, hesitantly.

"Mr. Jackson, how are you?"

"Pretty good considering I just got a job." Percy replied.

"We're waiting for one more member. You're going to meet your team leader after this."

Percy nodded.

"Mr. Coulson?" Annabeth said, as she approached the pair.

"Yes, Ms. Chase. Please follow me."

Percy fought to keep the grin off his face when he saw his Wise Girl. The trio neared a black van, that screamed government.

"This is the vehicle taking us back to headquarters. Your team leader is inside. Now, I don't know what you've heard about him but it is all fake. Allow him to tell you the truth before you make up your mind." Coulson said, gruffly before opening the doors of the van.

Annabeth and I stood outside as the doors opened. We were met with a dude in a spandex costume with a giant spider on it. Annabeth shrieked and punched the guy. His head snapped back, and he yelped. Annabeth grabbed his wrist and pulled him out of the vehicle where she promptly judo-flipped him. Percy winced. He knew how that felt.

"Hey! Hey!" the guy exclaimed, pulling his mask off. "Calm down."

Annabeth backed up into Percy. Percy grabbed her hand, she whirled around twisting his hand.

"Calm down. You're not there." Percy said, quietly. Her breathing slowed.

"I'm sorry. You reminded me of..." Annabeth trailed off as she turned back to the guy. He looked around their age.

"It's fine. Can we get inside?" the guy said, glancing around nervously.

As the trio sat in the van, they talked.

"You look familiar." Annabeth mused. "You're Spiderman, right?"

"Yeah, that's me." the guy replied. "If you've heard the accusations, they are all fake and doctored footage."

"Of course, I don't know how we were supposed to fall for that." Annabeth exclaimed.

"He does look familiar but for some other reason. Did you go to Yancy Academy for middle school?" Percy asked.

"Yeah, briefly."

"Peter Parker?" Percy asked.

"Yeah!" Peter replied. "Do I know you?"

"It's Percy! Percy Jackson!"

"Percy? It's been so long." Peter exclaimed, smiling. "You really changed, huh?"

"I could say the same, Spiderman. That's awesome. How's May?" Peter replied.

"She's good. Handling this craziness. What about Mr. Marine-Genius?"

"If I remember correctly one of us is an actual genius."

"Dude, you really like muscled up. What happened?" Peter replied, enthusiastically.

"A lot, man. I got in touch with my dad's family. They are insane."

"Ahem." Annabeth interrupted. "If you two are done fangirling over each other, maybe we can find out why we're here."

"Yes, ma'am." Percy retorted with a smirk.

"So you guys are supposed to help with a few things actually. I need a team so I can keep helping people and I need to clear my name. Coulson needs damage control on a dangerous substance floating through the oceans right now." Peter explained.

"Well, Annie and I are up for the job."

Annabeth gave him a glare. Her message was clear. The moment we're alone...you're dead.

Peter glanced between the two of them. "Am I missing something here?"

"Nope, not at all." Annabeth replied, hurriedly.

Percy smiled, innocently.

"Well guys, welcome to the world of heroes. I have a feeling you're going to be very comfortable here." Peter said.

Percy opened his mouth to reply but, suddenly, gunfire erupted outside. Out of the blue, the van flipped over and Percy's head slammed against a crate. Blood trickled down his forehead and his vision dimmed.

"Annabeth." he croaked before darkness pulled him down and away from the world.
