Constable Ace was in the constabulary. He was glad to be inside from how bad it was raining lately. He perked up when he saw a familiar face. Arthur shivered and tried to dry off a bit. "Arthur!" Ace chirpped happily and rushed over to his lover. "I wasnt expecting you here! I thought you were in the parade?" Ace said with a raised eyebrow. "Oh uhh... There was an incident...so we got sent home early. We weren't told who did it, but I blame Clive in all honesty." He said with a huff before looking up at his bobby.
Ace took his white coat off and draped it on Arthur, worried he'd get sick. "Thanks, Ace." Arthur said with a smile as Ace kissed him on the head. "Im stuck here for a few more hours, but let's get you warmed up. I'm sure we have something warm you could slip into. Maybe even one of my spare pairs of clothes." Ace offered his hand and Arthur took it. "I love you, Ace. I really truly do." Arthur said as they entwined fingers and headed to the elevator.
