The Beauty of Sol (Shinra x reader)

Chapter 3

"You are meant to be great, my sweet [Y/n]." The woman smiled at her. Baby [Y/n] titled her head in confusion then she squealed, anyway, while raising her hand for her mother. The woman giggled and picked up her baby. "The great God, Sol, has blessed me with you. I know you'll show the world the beauty of flames."

[Y/n] gasp as she sat up. She was a bit sweaty and shaken up. "That woman..." [Y/n] muttered and her head began to hurt, "Who was that woman?" She muttered and got out of bed. [Y/n] could only assume that she was the first one awake since everything was quiet. After her morning route, [Y/n] ran into Maki in the hall. 

"Maki-san...Are you going somewhere?" [Y/n] asked referring to the uniform she had on. 

"Arthur, Shinra and I are heading to the fairgrounds for the Rookie Games. Captain Obi and Lieutenant Hinawa went ahead to set up." She said, and [Y/n] hummed. 

"Could I come?" [Y/n] asked, "I tired of being at the company all day. I don't really do anything." She continued and rubbed the back of her head.

"Sure." Maki said, and [Y/n] smiled as she followed Maki.

It wasn't long before Company 8 made it to the fairground where the Rookie Games were being held. "Yeah! The Rookie Games!" Shinra cheered, and [Y/n] smiled a bit. 'Why is he so cute?' [Y/n] thought. 

"Tamaki Kotatsu is here to rock!" A girl with black pigtails and her uniform was really revealing. [Y/n] could see Shinra blushing and leaning over a bit to see more of her body. [Y/n] pouted a bit. Sure, [Y/n] was rather busty herself, but she was taking a liking to Shinra. She wanted his attention, too. 'He's a boob man...' [Y/n] thought and glared slightly, 'Definitely a boob man.'

They walked around some more. "Wow!" Maki cooed, "Wone Wone Nyine!"

 "Wone Wone Nyine?" Arthur repeated. 

"You don't know them? They're the Fire Defense Agency's mascot characters, Wone Wone Nyine!" Maki said, and [Y/n] smiled. They were a little cute. "But one of them is just an older man." Shinra said. "Ah, you mean Mamoru-kun?" Maki questioned.

"Mamoru-kun?" Shinra repeated. 

"The characters started out as two dogs and one cat, but the Fire Defense Agency complained about all three of them being animals, so one of them became a dog-faced older man." Maki explained. 

"What's wrong with having them be two dogs and a cat?" Shinra asked, and [Y/n] nodded. "Huh? Mamoru-kun is cute!" Maki complained, and Shinra and [Y/n] gave her a weird look. 

"Eh?!" Shinra said while pointing at Mamoru, and Maki nodded. 

"He...looks a bit weird, Maki-san..." [Y/n] said with a weary smile. 

But, for some reason, she felt as if she was being watched, and it made her skin crawl. [Y/n] made sure to stay close to Maki. [Y/n] didn't know why she had this sudden urge to run and as far away as possible. "Hey, you! Don't act so forward with my captain!" [Y/n] heard the girl, Tamaki, yell at Shinra as she walked by. 

That wasn't the only thing she noticed. Shinra's hand was in the girl's bra. Shinra noticed [Y/n] looking their way, and he quickly pulled his hand away. "No, it's not like that! I'm sorry!" Shinra quickly said with a nervous smile. 

"What are you smiling at, you pervert?!" Tamaki yelled and tried to slap Shinra but missed. She fell forward, causing her to crash into his chest and his hands went in her pants. Shinra had a reddened face.

[Y/n] sighed and facepalmed. It was getting ridiculous. "The competition is about to begin. All competitors, please put on your turnout gear and gather around." Was announced.
