8: A Competitive Start

[* 3rd POV *]

It was morning. Birds chirping, the sky is blooming, and the inklings blasting the hell out of each other with their weapons. Normal isn't it?

Jay groaned because of the light of the sun flashing at his eyes. "I swear sometimes I wish I had the power to destroy that sun." He Said. He got up and his hair was messy like a bomb exploded in front of him.

He fixed it quickly and decided to wake the others up. "Oy guys. Time to get up... Time to survive another day knowing that we're the last humans live so get up already." He Said. No one woke up from his talking. He sighed. "Ahem... WAKE, UP!!" He yelled.

Riley and the rest immediately draw their weapons. "What's the danger?!" Riley Said. "Nothing. I was getting y'all up." Jay yawned. "Damn it, Jay. You sometimes do things like this that scare us."

"Well get over it. Have another day ahead of us and we have to use it wisely." Jay responded. Everyone got up. "So much for thinking that you're like your father." Edward Said. "Well of course not." Jay Said.

"So anyway, we went to sleep, the inklings left us, we don't know what to do, so what now?" Lex said. "How about for you guys to be quiet?" Said an angry voice. The group faced Agent 3 in an annoyed tone. Agent 4 and 8 were behind her as well, looking a little nervous about Agent 3.

"Well, what now?" Jay Said. "I would suggest taking a look around the city. But that plan would reveal our identities." Axel Said. "It really doesn't since I got exposed in a rough way." Jay Said. "Oh?" Axel Said confused.

"I fell like a meteor in the middle of the place and everyone's attention went towards me and these 3 took me in." Jay Said. "Anyway, how do you guys spend your time?"

"We spend our time together in, Octo Canyon, Turf War, Salmon Run, Ranked Battle, Splat Zones, Tower Control, Rainmaker, Clam Blitz... And a bunch more." Agent 4 Said. "I'm getting excited to see them now," Julia said.

"Also, how are we going to get down? I know there's a way down and it's just by walking, but the inklings already know that I exist but not them." Jay Said. "Me and 4 are going to lead them towards the idols while 8 will take you to the plaza normally... Which means you're going to be a distraction." Agent 3 said.

"Uhh.. Will it involve with inklings invading my space?" Jay Said nervously. "Technically yes." Agent 3 Said. "Wait I got an idea." Jay Said. I used his hand to help his whistle.

What the Agents didn't know is that there were robotic animals coming their way. Saber and his pack came towards them using boosters from their legs while carrying Dezz and Stinger on their backs. The pack tackled Jay down, Nightfall landing on G-man's shoulder, Stinger climbing on Jose's hand, Skye landing behind Riley, Slith Making its way towards Gaven, and Dezz climbing into Lex's pocket.

"What are those things?!" Agent 4 Said while she jumped towards Agent 3, maker her hold Agent 4 in her arms. Jay was laughing a lot because of the robotic wolf pack licking his face. "Alright, Alright! Down boys." Jay commanded. The pack sat down in a protective manner.

Agent 3 forgot that she was holding 4 in her arms and so she let go, making Agent 4 fall. Agent 8 seems more interested than scared. She got closer to Saber and patted his head. Saber got his robotic tongue out and wagging his tail showing the appreciation.

"We found them in an old building that my dad used to work at." Jay Said. "You're talking about those old buildings far away?" Agent 4 Said. "Yep. One of them is called Apexi."

"So, w-what they for?" Agent 4 Said kinda startled. "I can use theses wolfs to make sure the inklings don't get in our way." Jay Said. "Won't they attack them?" Agent 3 Said. "I can command them if I wanted to, but I won't. I promise." Jay Said.
